2013 Sport Card Collectors Top 10 Mock Draft

Here it is, Sport Card Collectors 2013 Top 10 Mock Draft. Very excited for the draft as I believe this one will be a very interesting one. There are at least 5 teams in the Top 10 looking to move back. A few want to move up. And despite what some say, I think 3 QB's will be drafted in the first round.

In a hobby aspect of things for us football card rookie chasers, my Top 10 isn't really hobby laden. No splashy offensive players except Barkley. Definitely not what last years draft turned out. But this is the NFL Draft and you never know what could happen.

    1. Kansas City Chiefs: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
For me its this guy or Eric Fisher, OT. But I believe in the end that the Chiefs will stick with this guy to watch newly acquired QB Alex Smiths blindside. With the many acquisitions made for the Chiefs this off season including new coach Andy Reid they could surprise a few teams in the West and a guy like Joeckel would help. If you were to ask me about this pick before the Alex Smith trade I would have told you no doubt Geno Smith would have gone here.
    2.
    3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Dion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon
A team that has always needed a pass rusher finally gets a big time one in Jordan. They have not had much success in recent years in drafting pass rushers as we saw in picks of Derrick Harvey and Tyson Alualu who didn't quite pan out like they had hoped. Jacksonville was the worst pass rushing team in the league last year and Jordan  could help here mightily. I know some mock drafts say QB here, but I think Gabbert can get the job done. He just needs more talent and a healthy Jones-Drew around him.

    4. Oakland Raiders: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The buzz around Floyd has been high since February and he has really put himself into position to be drafted easily in the Top 5. And luckily for the Raiders he might be there. This is a team that needs help on all fronts but needs help especially on the D-line where they are redoing it with the releases of Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly.

    5. Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan
Atheltic is one thing you can say about Eric Fisher and thats something that fits perfectly in Chip Kelly's fast paced offense. No matter the QB that plays, they need someone fast to watch his blindside and this is also a huge need for a banged up offensive line. The Eagles may also take a close look at Milliner as the need secondary help since they got rid of both CB's in Free Agency.

    6. Detroit Lions: Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
The Lions have a few needs here, they could go OT which are loaded in this draft which is why I think they will wait to later or trade back up for. They could also use a pass rusher. But I think another glaring weakness is their secondary and when there is a guy comparable to Revis out in the draft and a huge play maker, how can you not make the pick here

    7. Cleveland Browns: Ezekiel Ansah, DE/OLB, BYU
The Browns have already made a splash in Free Agency picking up needs and a pass rusher like Paul Kruger but they could use more talent on the field. If Ansah is sitting there I would be shocked if they let him go by. Though there are other glaring needs on offense such as possibly a QB but I think they will wait til the second round for that since this is a second and third round steal draft, but I think at this point in the draft Ansah is the best available player and should be drafted here.

    8. Miami Dolphins VIA Arizona Cardinals in a Trade: Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma
I think the Dolphins who rolled the dice this Free Agency and filled the roster with talent, lost one of their main offensive guys in tackle Jake Long. With a glaring need on the blindside of Ryan Tannehill, this would be a smart move for Miami to move up and try to grab this guy.

    9. Buffalo Bills: Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Yep, you saw it here first. The Bills are high on two QB's, Nassib and Barkley who both run the West Coast system. Geno Smith could go here as well, but could be a stretch for the system. I know a lot of drafts are choosing Nassib here because he played under new Bills head coach Marrone but I think Barkly is the better player here.

    10. New York Jets: Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU
All talk has been about how much the Jets love this guy and how well he will fit into the Jets system. Once again, this is another Top 10 team in desperate need of some play makers and the Jets have been lacking a pass rusher. They thought they had one in Vernon Gholston a few years ago but he proved he could not be that guy so the Jets will most likely take this guy. But if CB Milliner somehow slips this far a replacement for Revis wouldn't be a far stretch either.

    11. Tennessee Titans: Star Lotulelei, NT, Utah
A beast of a gap filler on the defensive line and a need for the Titans equals a perfect match. Of course thats if he falls this far. The Browns have been connected to him as well. Another need here for the Titans would be CB. So if Milliner slips the Lions and the Jets here, the Titans would easily draft him since they fell in love with him at the Combine.

What are your thoughts on our Mock Draft?Anything surprise you? Any changes you would make?
