Yard Sale Find # 3: 1999 Bowman Baseball

We recently posted about a Yard Sale we went to and picked up a bunch of sports cards at (mostly baseball). We thought it would be fun to take you on the journey with us to discover what is inside of every box, every single we got picking out the best ones along the way to show. We hope you enjoy the trip and comments are always welcomed.

The box was labeled 1999 Bowman Baseball
Base card adds..Derek Jeter, Andy Pettite, Tony Gwynn among others.
HUGE stacks of rookies and prospect cards!
Parallels. Some of top rookies CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett
Great rookie card finds in 2 Sabathia's, Tim Hudson, Matt Holliday
More great rookie finds in Furcal, Soriano and Adam Dunn
Was yet impressed again of what we found in this box. There was maybe about 20 base cards and the remaining were rookies and parallels. Wished there had been a Josh Hamilton but we definitely scored well hitting all of the top rookies but his.

Three boxes down, many, many, many more to break into and view what's in there. We are saving the boxes with singles in them for last. Those three boxes may take a few posts for each to break down.

  1. Wasn't 1999 Bowman Series 1 the worst Bowman ever with Series 2 being epic? Looks like you've got a mix of both in here

    1. That is correct. Series 1 was 220 cards of pure... Junk. Series 2 was the bomb that was loaded with rookies and prospects. Glad in this find both series were involved

  2. Pat Burrell and Tony Torcato are offended.

    1. Lol. I pulled a lot of Burrell back in the day. Just didn't make it as big as most thought he would
