This series is all about you, the readers. My opinion is mum on every subject, however, you guys have the open mic per say on here. So without further ado, here is today' topic:

Has not having a card manufacturer making NASCAR cards affected your collecting at all? Do you miss NASCAR cards? Which company are you really hoping makes a run soon at them?

  1. Absolutely affects me. I've been collecting cards since 1988, NASCAR cards since 1993, when I discovered the sport existed. With no new cards to collect, it's somewhat depressing, knowing that anything that happens in this year or possibly going forward won't be covered on cardboard...not like Press Pass did a good job with that anyway.

I don't care WHO starts producing them, as long as somebody does.

It has allowed me to chase some older issues, but mostly I've either spent the money on non-NASCAR cards or food. As you may know, living in NY is very expensive; food particularly so.

  2. I've never been a huge fan of NASCAR, but I've always thought their different car designs were cool. As for the cards, I'll pick up a Rusty Wallace every now and then. Hopefully someone will pick up their contract and start producing more card soon.
