March Madness! Card Company Style!

One of my favorite times of the year is upon us, March Madness. The only legit playoffs where any team can win any day. So I got to thinking, why not combine two of my favorite things? So here it is, Card Company March Madness!

Here are a list of the companies I put together:
Panini America
Upper Deck
Tri-City Sports PL

First up, I needed to do a seeding. The only fair way was to do a random so I did one. Also, there is an odd number of companies, so I thought a play-in round first to complete the seeding is needed. That's why you see Winner on the random seeding list. I decided the best match up for the play-in would be SA-GE vs Tri-City Sports PL since both do unlicensed products but good ones.

Here is how the random went.

There were 8 items in your list. Here they are in random order:
  1. Topps
  2. Rittenhouse
  3. Benchwarmers
  4. Leaf
  5. Cryptozoic
  6. Winner
  7. Panini America
  8. Upper Deck
Topps takes the top seed while Upper Deck takes the last.

So in the rules of March Madness seeding, the top seed plays the lowest seed. So let's see our match-ups and the divisions I tried to make even with the match-ups.

Cardboard Division
Topps vs Upper Deck (big one!)
Benchwarmers vs Play-In Winner (will know on Friday)

Acetate Division
Rittenhouse vs Panini America
Leaf vs Cryptozoic

Now here is how this is going to work.

I am going to post a current match up off to the right side of the blog. Readers must vote on a company to advance them. However, when you vote, I want you to take into consideration many factors before placing your vote on a "just because I like or dislike this company."

Think about their products with design, pricing, and overall appeal. Think about their customer service. Think about their redemption system. Think about their social media and interaction. Think about their giveaways.Think about them overall as a company. I want the best overall companies to advance.

Voting starts tonight on the play-in winner of SA-GE vs Tri City Sports PL so make sure off to the right of the blog you place your vote. If on a mobile device, view the blog in web version to see it.

Each round of voting will last two days and I will post the next match-up as we go.

This should be fun as we narrow down a 2016 Card Company March Madness winner and if you want, make your winner predictions below!
