There's No Limits For Odell

So we continue my trade recap with 90's Niche Football Card blog today with a new Odell.

It is extremely hard to describe how awesome this card is. From your seat you are just seeing a plain ole insert. Believe me when I saw the card posted to me for the trade, I thought the same.

But, up close and in hand if you haven't seen these, this is a 3D ride into another dimension. It's something out of the 90's mixed into today's card market that I wished I could have captured better on here but couldn't figure out how.

The background behind Odell and the NY symbol is like a shadowbox/lentictular design. I guess that's why the theme was No Limits as there is no limit on how deep that goes behind the players as it tricks your eyes.

From my research, there are three different versions of these to collect including a 1/1 version. I am thinking I need to chase down a couple more or see what other NY Giants offerings.

There are some collectors who are not fans of the manufactured relics and then there is me.

I don't care much for the manu-patches and things like that as much, but the way I look at it, isn't event or player worn stuff basically the same? If it's not game used, it's technically a gimmick in my opinion.

One of my favorite manu relics are coins.

Just look at this one. Great design, it's numbered and is pretty cool if you ask me.

And I really liked these. I think they could had done more with the design around the coin like the Eli above, but front and back of the coin is pretty awesome. Doesn't need to be numbered either.

Super Bowl 42 will always be in my memory forever. Was the first technical Super Bowl I watched the Giants win. It was also as big time underdogs and against a team that many in my area and in my family like. It was a sweet, sweet victory.

Now I just need to get the Super Bowl 46 version to match this.

An Exquisite Nicks

So we continue my trade recap with 90's Niche Football Card blog today with a really nice looking Hakeem Nicks.

This card has some many things right about it. Nice design, solid patch and an on-card autograph. Not to mention, it features a NY Giant.

Nicks had a solid career in NY after his 1st round drafting in 2009. Towards the end of his time with the Giants he couldn't get a TD and was no longer relevant. He bounced around teams for a bit after that and even made a NY Giants return. At this point I don't think he is with any teams or will get signed again. But, I will always remember his efforts and especially his play in the playoffs in 2012.

4 New Dre's

So we continue my trade recap with 90's Niche Football Card blog for Day 7 and this time it's all about Dre.

Even though Andre is currently not with the team anymore, I still have been adding to my PC of him. It's an affordable one with some nice looking cards and it's still Giants blue so I am fine with it.

I do wish a team would give him a chance to play. The Chargers have Melvin Gordon who is having an amazing season so the odds of Andre playing there just isn't in the cards.

First is a jersey card I didn't have. I like the design.

On-card silver autograph from Inception. If it wasn't for the 00 jersey on him here, the card is superb!

Another National Treasures card. One of only three total cards I own of this product. Loving the patch here.

And we end it out on a High note. Yes, see what I did there. My very first High Tek auto. So shiny and awesome.

With these 4 now added, my Andre Williams PC has now eclipsed the 90 different card mark. I am always looking to add new ones especially if they are unique ones like the ones above.

Autograph Of A Super Bowl Hero

So we continue my trade recap with 90's Niche Football Card blog for Day 6 I am showing off a new SPA addition of a NY Giants Super Bowl hero.

If you don't remember, back in Super Bowl 46, the biggest play of the game came from someone I think most forget about, Mario Manningham.

Mario made an incredible sideline toes in-bound catch on the game winning TD drive for the Giants in the game. It was also his catch that saved the game and kept the drive alive when the Giants were backed up with under 5 minutes to play.

So I definitely didn't mind adding his SPA auto to my collection. I didn't have it and I am a fan of SPA which I still consider had the best/most valuable/most seeked rookie cards on the market.

Giants Win, You Can Too!

This week is a big game for my 8-4 NY Giants as they take on the 11-1 Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

It's a must win if they want any shot left at the division. That's something I honestly think Dallas has already locked up after Giants lost to Pitt, but, none the less, i strongly dislike Dallas and want a win. So sick of hearing the Dak/Zeke talk.

The Giants also need a win to hold onto the Wild Card spot which they lead by 2 games currently.

So I am giving this away, this sweet 2016 Phoenix rookie auto memorabilia card of top Chargers pick Joey Bosa if and only if the GIANTS WIN.

5 Card Hand

So we continue my trade recap with 90's Niche Football Card blog for Day 5 and this time we group together some new relics and autographs.

Up first, the two Giants QB's currently on the roster. I am still not sure how well Nassib will turn out. The Eli is a die cut. Still don't much memorabilia cards of him so it's nice to add one here and there.

A new Adams auto, man I hope this guy pans out, and another Michael Cox auto. He was decent for them. I like the card because it's also very shiny.

Speaking of shiny, another one here from Spectra. This time an autograph of 2016 1st round pick Eli Apple. My 3rd Apple auto.
Another solid showing in Day 5 and still plenty more to go.

Just In Time For The Holliday's

So we continue my trade recap with 90's Niche Football Card blog for Day 4 and this time we take a very sharp corner back to the Giants.

When the Giants signed Trindon Holliday back in March of 2014, I thought finally their return problems were solved. It had been years since they had a threat in the return game.

The former track star had just come off a decent return season for the Broncos so my expectations were high. But, my expectations soon turned to disappointment as he couldn't stay healthy and he was released in October of that year. Not hitting the field once for them I believe.

I never actually knew a card of him in a Giants uniform was ever made until 90's Niche Football Card blog had it offered up in his trade. I think it's a pretty cool addition as I like to acquire a variety of players who every got signed for them. He also has a pretty nice signature and this one is numbered to 49.
