1994 Starting Lineup Card Add!

If you think numbered inserts are tough finds in the 90's, try adding to your PC with promo cards or cards that came with figures. A lot of collectors never opened up their Starting Lineups in the 90's.

If you don't know what a Starting Lineup is, simply it was a line of collectible figures made to look like the players that included a card in the package in the 80's, 90's, and a little in the 2000's I believe before McFarlane figures took over.

So to my luck, I stumbled upon one of my Starting Lineup card needs for cheap so I added it.

Card isn't the most spectacular thing you have seen, but, it still was a need.

Thoughts on my latest tough Hampton add is welcomed in comments and if you want to help add to my Rodney Hampton project, see all of my remaining needs HERE. You just never know what you may have that I don't.

  1. I have a 3 inch binder dedicated to my Kenner SLU card collection. Definitely one of my favorite oddball lines from the 90's. And if it weren't for Kellogg's and Mother's Cookies cards... those late 80's SLU sets would be my favorite too.

  2. I'm a big fan of slu figures and cards as well, and you aren't kidding about them being tougher to track down. I actually completed a season of slu cards and figures in 2016 but never got around to posting about it. I really should have!

  3. Very cool. I never collected these, but they definitely have appeal for sure.
