Let's Talk About Sets Volume 29:1995 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion

I have said before in this series, nothing catches my eyes for sets more than gold. Gold leads to sets.

There was no bigger set to chase full of gold foil goodness then 1995 Fleer Ultra football.

With two series, the set is a massive 550 carder with lots of rookies and Hall Of Famers to chase within.

That means I have to chase down 550, yes 5....5...0 cards in this parallel set. If that doesn't say that I am crazy, nothing does.

Here are my latest additions to this major set.

And here is my overall look at what I have so far,

1995 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion Parallel HAVES
11,13,14,15,18,19,42,43,44,59,61,66,71,72,79,80,80,96,100,102,109,116,121,125,139,140,154,166
167,186,187,188,191,193,194,211,213,214,218,221,223,224,225,228,229,230,231,246,247,252,253,
279,286,289,290,293,295,297,306,309,316,320,322,323,325,345,346,347,354,372,376,385,412,
418,422,423,441,454,456,458,462,476,482, 483,484,488,489,502,507,502,537,542,

I have knocked down maybe 1/5th of the set so many more to go. I would be impressed if I can ever focus to finish this one up. For now I have just been adding occasional cheap pieces as I find them or can trade for them.

  1. 1995 was my favorite year for Gold Medallions.

  2. It's funny, they came one per pack, so you'd think they'd be everywhere, but for some reason these are not easy to find in the wild.

    1. Yeah I know, not easy to find them in bunches which is my hope for such a big set.
