Pink Week: Day 4

Collecting Cutch runs a second base filled month of pink cards over on his blog and has recently challenged us bloggers to post pink cards and get comments on said cards. For every post we make that features a pink card, and YOU GUYS comment on, he will donate $1 per comment to Save Second Base.

So I am thinking, the more posts, the more comments, the more I challenge him to donate. So I have grouped six groups of pink cards to show off this week and am CHALLENGING YOU to comment on each post.

I probably had enough pink cards to go the whole month, but, I will cut Cutch a break and just do it for six days.

I will say though, I am not doing this just for Cutch's challenge sake, I am doing this because it hits close to home as well as my mother-in-law had Breast Cancer and I saw all that she had to go through with treatments to clear herself of it. She has now been 5 years clear. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone so the more we can save Second Base, the better.

Here are today's cards,

If you want to make your own private donation please visit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  There is a donate button on the main page and it only takes a minute of your time.  Every little bit helps.

So comment below and leave me your thoughts on the players featured in this post, your favorite pink cards, or what Save Second Base Means to you.

  1. I got a Cole Hamels card planned for next week!

  2. I seem to be getting a lot of Hamels cards in packs the past year, or do...but no pink cards.

    Good Job. 👍

  3. As much as I love my lefties... I couldn't root for Cole while he was with the Rangers.

  4. So wonderful to hear your mom-in-law is winning this battle. Five years clear is an important marker. I have a good friend who is still on prescription meds for another couple of years. She is winning too.
