Houston's Cardboard:1999-2000 Fleer Mystique

Shiny Houstons are always the first cards I want to add to my Allan Houston PC. In my last trade with @CardPocalypseNC I was surprised with a stack of Houstons in my trade package. All of which will make an appearance with this segment.

Fleer Mystique was a fun product in the late 90's, but I do remember one problem with it. Sometimes the foil on the card would peel up. Hopefully I can store this one in a great place so it doesn't.

  1. I liked the concept behind Mystique and remember coming across a Kobe that had the foil coming off. Another issue I came across is finding one of those "Mystique" cards with the peel and reveal cover still intact. I tried to peel it off, but it left behind a lot of the glue and ended up damaging the card.

    1. I remember those. That must peel that foil right off now

    1. You should try to find a few. Made it for football as well and baseball.

  4. Any 90's card with foil is capable of peeling up, especially when handled or stored improperly.

    1. I know. I try to store them in even temperatures but the weather here doesn't always allow that.
