I didn't like Space Jam that much when it first came out, then it grew on me. It also helped my hatred of MJ had come to an end as well as a bitter Knicks fan.
One of the first toys that stood out to me when I arrived to the Daycare, literally stood out to me, was this 1996 talking Space Jam Michael Jordan. I ran to it like it was a long lost friend and immediately grabbed it. Not that I had any competition to fight over it.
The figure is 15 inches tall and features MJ in the Tune Squad jersey
The back is the famous 23 and where the button is to make him talk which doesn't work and I don't dare to pull out the batteries to try new ones. I assume they are well corroded.
These figures sell anywhere between $11-$20. I landed it for less than $1.
It's a pretty unique piece for the collection, I just need to find a better way to display it.
