Rodney's Cardboard:1996 Pacific Printing Plate

Another new Rodney, another new Rodney plate and another thank you goes out to Shane from Cheap Wax Wednesday fame.
Today's plate is from 1996 Pacific football, one of my favorite base card designs from the Pacific line.

There isn't much else to say about printing plates so I must apologize for short posts. It's not like there are odds on it.

Thanks again to Shane and for everyone coming to check it out. Next week, another Rodney....plate.

  1. I hate to be the fly in your soup, again, but you really need to do some reading up on 90's printing plates before you buy, or have someone else buy, any more of these. Unless it's a product that had plates inserted into packs (late 90's Stadium Club), plates from this era are almost always fake. Classic and Pacific are the two companies that the counterfeiters usually use, mostly because there's no risk of them getting sued by a company that no longer exists. I hate to give any props to the site, but the Blowout forums really do have a lot of great information on this subject. A couple of those posts saved me from buying one of these phonies a couple of years back, and even though I dislike the site as a whole, I'm grateful to the folks who took the time to do all of the research on the subject and publically expose the fraudsters.
