He's Back To Blogging!

 Hey!

Just wanted to throw out there that my good friend Wes has put up a new post and his first one in many, many years.

Let's all give him a warm welcome back.

Go his blog a read and tell him hello!

Rodney's Cardboard:1990 Topps Gum Stain

 It's another football Sunday!

Time to bring on the cheer!

This Sunday is technically not a "new" Rodney as I have about 100 of these rookie cards, but, it's a parallel of such.

My friend @90sNicheFBCard showed me a Rodney Hampton he had pulled from a pack earlier this summer and said he was sending it my way.

The front is the typical Rodney front. He's happy that I keep collecting him. When someone like me collects him, it makes sure he has a job in signing cards.

The back is what's new about this card. It's got the gum stain from the 1990 Topps pack where the gum was stuck to the back of the card. It's as authentically of a card you can get from the gum years of trading cards.

Like I said, technically not a real parallel or a new one, but I am counting this as separate and unique to my PC.

Do any of you collect cards like this in your collection?

A couple more new Rodneys' to show off soon.

Rodney's Cardboard:2025 Absolute Autograph /199

Wow...it's sure been awhile since I have had a new Rodney to share with you guys.

It's just the flow of the hobby and the expensive prices that Rodney is going for now.

Even today's add was more than it should be, but it's also the reason why I waited so long to add it.

I have already added cheaper, lower  numbered stuff from this run before I added the base autograph. Which is sad but a reality for a Super Collector. You want them all, but you also know your limits.

I did add a few cheap Rodney's recently, so I will have others to post as well. One I traded for, that ones pretty cool and can't wait to share that one.

Not sure how many I have left in the Absolute run until I can double check. I might be down to just the 1/1. But, my spreadsheets are being a pain right now to update, just need to work on that so I can.
