Cracked The Top 10

 It has taken me awhile, but finally cracked the Top 10 with my Allan Houston PC on TCDB.

I am still miles from reaching the Top 5 and apparently there is actually a Houston PCer at number one, so not trying to compete here. The goal here is just to collect what I can of my favorite Knicks basketball player.

So I am on the lookout for others I need still since there is plenty to chase.

I had gone through a long winless streak until last week where I won twice! I received the second one of those mail days a few days ago so thought I would show it off here:

Dalvin is gone, Big Cat is going to beast it up and Neal and Kayvon is the future!

Johnny’s Generous

With my phone acting up most of the time now, it makes it really hard to comment on a lot of blogs. There are only a select few my phone will let me comment on even as anonymous and one of those blogs is Johnny's Trading Spot.

I am fortunate on that though as Johnny has continued to do his nightly giveaways with his never ending generosity and never ending stamps it seems.

First four cards feature two of former Giants QB Dave Brown. I am probably the only person on earth who is still collecting him.

Vintage G-men are always great. Always need help in that area of my Gmen collection.

I have a copy of this card, but don't mind another. 1997 Upper Deck football has one of the best rookie photo shoots ever. Go ahead and look up some of the cards from that set.

Two new cards for the Hilliard collection. This was back when Gold Label was a good product, I don't like the new Topps stuff. You can't ever beat an original.

Another new card for Hilliard and it's a 90's insert, that's my sweet spot.

Eli! I realize more and more how much he meant to the G-men after watching this team since he left.

Seinfeld Customs

Once again, Greg over at Nine Pockets blog made some cool customs and printed them off to give away.

I was fortunate to be able to land a couple from his giveaway despite my constant battle with trying to comment on everyone’s blogs. For some reason or another, my phone keeps signing me out of blogger every time I comment and then won’t allow me to comment as anonymous. But here is the kicker, that’s not for all of the blues I read and comment on, only a few!

So keep that in mind, I am still reading your stuff, just can’t always comment because of this.

Despite my issue, which I addressed to Greg in an email, he was as awesome as his custom work and sent me a couple for my Seinfeld PC.

These look great and I am happy to add these to my collection.

Who Let The Bots Out!

I know I said I was cutting back on blogging this month due to family time, but I guess all of us need bathroom breaks occasionally even with family around so here I am.

Last month, Sport Card Collectors set a record high for views in a month and I have no idea why.

For one, I didn’t post anything until the end of the month, just lame random card posts, when I was testing the views. Second, I haven’t posted anything since May 5th on here for real content. And third, I don’t share anything from this blog anymore on any social media even when I do post.

With this info, I can only assume that bots must be spamming this blog with views. I have no other explanation.

So I am wondering, did any of the rest of you bloggers experience an increase in June? And what are your thoughts on it.

In the meantime, I will still take this number as a personal best and hope that it was more real than fake.

Because sometimes I really miss blogging on here. Not sure if any of you miss me on here.

Alright, that was a quick bathroom break. Now back to being busy until I need to go again or hide in here.
