REVIEW:Cryptozoic The Flash Season 1 And GIVEAWAY!

Can you imagine being struck by lightning by a freak storm, being put in a coma for 9 months only to wake up as the fastest person alive? Well, that's what happened to Barry Allen. And now he is Central City's savior from evil doers around!

I am lucky to be able to call myself one of the early breakers of this product as it doesn't release til 10/12. I wasn't technically the first as GoGTSLive beat me to it but I must be the second. So this will give you some early time to decide on how many boxes you want to bust :)

So let's see how fast I can break this box for you to see. Probably not that fast as Barry as he finished before the product released.

Every box of Cryptozoic's The Flash Season 1 comes with 24 packs and 5 cards per pack. You should get one on-card autograph and one wardrobe card per box. Boxes are will run about $75.

Base cards are high gloss, top notch designed and capture key episode moments from Season 1. I really like the starter to the set (bottom card).

There are 72 cards in the base set in which a box should provide you a set.

These are rainbow foil parallels I pulled. I don't see any details on odds on these but with 8 pulled, I assume 1:3. I really like these a lot and would make for a fun set chase. It adds a bit more flash to Flash.

Another parallel I found in my box but without info on is the "Flash Symbol" parallel. These are printed with gold foil so not sure if other foils are out to be found or not. But, it's a nice surprise by Cryptozoic who have been known to throw in a few here and there.

I assume these are 1:12 since I pulled 2.

Locations fall 1:3 packs. Capturing the different locations in the show.

Rogues fall 1:3 packs. The bad guys. I assume this is a 9 card set that I completed. I am sure as the product gets closer more info will be released and I will update this.

Character Bios fall 1:4 packs. These look really cool especially in the foil version I pulled. Great design on these.
Time for the hits!

Here is my wardrobe pull, great look to the card.

And my on-card autograph pull was of the one and only Danielle Panabaker.

Other pulls not found in my box are Dual Wardrobe cards that fall 1:96 packs and Printing Plate cards that fall 1:208 packs. There may be other prop cards to find as well.

Oh and if you decide to buy the collectors binder to put your cards in, that comes with an exclusive prop card from the show shown here:

Overall, a pretty solid break in my opinion especially with the Panabaker pull. With a base set, some insert sets, parallels, some surprises and 2 hits it seems well worth the price if you like the show and if you compare it to some sports products that offer less for this price.

The product also has a very solid autograph checklist and some nice swatches in the wardrobe cards.
