CARDBOARD REVIEW:2019 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball

It's clearly fall where I live as the leaves have changed colors and is starting to head towards the end of what we call "peak" season.

Which also means the leaves start to fall and the drive towards winter begins.

But, fall also means October baseball where some of the greatest moments live in the sport. It also means the wind down time for the baseball card season as the final products of 2019 are starting to sprinkle in.

Today I am busting one of those in Clearly Authentic. A product that clearly easy to explain.

I haven't had much success since the product released, so lets see if 2019 makes a difference.

Every box of 2019 Clearly Authentic comes with one encased hard signed acetate card. Boxes currently run just under $50.

So all you have to do is open up the box and there is your hit....
Jose Martinez.red parallel /50. Red parallels fall 1:21 boxes.

The product is main based on the flagship design but also has other offerings I will list below. There are 44 subjects in the main autograph checklist and here are the parallel offerings for those,
Green /99 (1:4), Black /75 (1:16), Red /50 (1:21), Blue /25 (1:39), Purple /10 (1:97), Orange /5 (1:193), and Gold 1/1 (1:1,24).

Other hits not found in my box include that also include different parallels then above,
  • Clearly Authentic 1952 Reimagining Autographs
  • Clearly Authentic 1984 Topps Baseball Autographs
  • Clearly Authentic 150 Years of Professional Baseball Autographs
  • Clearly Authentic T206 Autographs Set
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Well, it's always a gamble when you buy one hit products. Sometimes you will hit the Mike Trouts and other times you will land the Jose Martinez. I think the product as a whole is fun, I mean who doesn't love some acetate especially some signed on card version.

I am not a gambler personally, so this is a product I wouldn't buy just because of that. But, I would defintely pick up some singles of my favorite players such as I did last year with Clint Frazier.

If you want in on a box break without paying box prices, I suggest Midwest Box Breaks as they pull fire!

Please make sure to take a minute out to thank Topps for providing this box for me to review and to be able to add cards to the giveaway on Twitter I am hosting. Please follow me there to enter @SportCardCollec. Also follow Topps on all social media sites and visit their SITE, as well
