Rodney's Cardboard:2026 Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson Battle Arena Hot Rod

Out of all of the Rodney Hampton chases I have done, this may be the most insane one yet and the most confusing one.

I recently discovered that in the new Bo Jackson Battle Arena card set that Rodney Hampton was included as one of the "characters" in the game as someone named Hot Rod.

At first glance, you see the Rodney part. The #27 showing, the red, white and Giants blue. The undeniable name of Hot Rod with Rod standing for Rodney. These are a little odd, but a little fun as well and as a Super Collector, well these need to be chased.

What I didn't know was that there are over 100 of these. Upon first research I did, there was only 4. Then I dug deeper into the checklist on Bo's website and realized there is an insane amount of parallels to the four sections.

So far, I have the one I posted above which i haven't quite figured out which card it is yet. Once I get these figured out more, maybe I will chase more. I need to do more research and also see if the numbers match up right. This will be a long drawn out process.

I have added these to my overall Hampton checklist. These just make my chase of all total Rodney Hamptons even more challenging. But, I guess that's what makes being a super collector fun. Now I just need to fight off the rest of the Rodney chasers as well.
