Rodney's Cardboard:1996 Pacific Printing Plate

Another new Rodney, another new Rodney plate and another thank you goes out to Shane from Cheap Wax Wednesday fame.

 

Today's plate is from 1996 Pacific football, one of my favorite base card designs from the Pacific line.

There isn't much else to say about printing plates so I must apologize for short posts. It's not like there are odds on it.

Rodney's Cardboard:1995 Classic NFL Experience Printing Plate

Rodney is back and I have a new one to show off thanks to my buddy Shane of Cheap Wax Wednesday fame.

Today's Printing Plate marks my 6th plate I have of Rodney in my collection.

 

This plate is from the 1995 Classic NFL Experience set. I didn't bother posting the back of the plate since these ones are typically just a blank back.

These 90's plates I feel are a bit tougher to land then plates from today. If it's not obvious, it's because they are from the 90's and who knows how they were distributed.

Another plate down and more...wait what did I just put...more to come.

Rodney's Cardboard:1997 Fleer Metal Red PMG

One of the most rare, even at a numbering to 150, and coolest parallels of the 90's is by far Precious Metal Gems.

The first 135 PMG's were printed with a red foil and the last 15 were printed with a green foil making those ones even more impossible to find.

I bought a couple PMG's a few years ago at $1 each on eBay from a guy who had a boatload of 90's inserts just to have some. I can't remember who they were now, but they don't come close to the one I have today in my hands.

I am not sure if I will ever be able to locate the green version as this is the only red I have ever seen pop up. But, who knows with a lot of patience.

Rodney's Cardboard:2020 Select Gold Prizm Die-Cut Autograph /10

I am way off this week with my Rodney post, so here is the newest Rodney show off and as of now, the final Select card I have in hand.

The last two months of build up has led to this card. Even though earlier in this series I did show off the other gold non die cut counterpart.

 

Always found the shape of the die cuts in this set to be odd.

 

This is numbered to 10 just like the plain gold autograph in the series.
