CARDBOARD REVIEW:2021 Topps Gold Label

As baseball season winds down in October, so doesn't the end of the year releases.

Today I am showing off a break of the latest Topps release, Gold Label. This isn't your grandfathers Gold Label, did I really just call myself old?, this is new age Gold Label. I haven't had much success with the product in the past so does this box change things?

Only one way to tell...
2021 Topps Gold Label comes with 7 packs of 5 cards each. Each box comes with one framed autograph per and each box will run you $115.

BASE:

The base set is 100 cards, but that's times 3 as there are 3 levels of base to collect for each player in the 100 card base set. Sort of like the 90's, just not as cool. The base cards are attractive but don't have the thick cardstock like the old days. To tell the difference in the classes is to look behind the player as the words are written right there. Not too complicated at least.

The Pete Alonso above is Class 1, a common.

Class 2 falls 1 in every pack

While Class 3 falls 1:2 packs.

The base set has veterans, rookies and legends of the game.

PARALLELS:
Gold Label offers the following parallels:
CLASS 1 PARALLELS: Black, Blue /150, Purple /99, Red /75, Gold 1/1
CLASS 2 PARALLELS: Black, Blue /99 , Purple /75, Red /50, Gold 1/1
CLASS 3 PARALLELS: Black , Blue /50, Purple /35, Red /25, Gold 1/1

Black Class 1 that falls 1:2 packs. I found one pack that had none and another that had two!

Class 2 Black Parallels fall 1:6 packs

While Class 3 falls 1:20

HITS:
Another Rookie Pitcher Auto. Well, good night. That's the end of the review folks

Though my boxes have been stalked by Nate Pearson, I will say the framed autograph cards are a pure work of art. If this had been some big time player that would have been amazing.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:
Well, the autograph was a bummer, but overall Gold Label is a great looking product. It's also an easy product with not a whole lot of complications. There isn't any Sp chases or real tough variations. It is simple and to the point which isn't a bad thing.

Leave me your thoughts on Gold Label below in comments!

Check out Cards Over Coffee please and once again add it to your blogrolls and even a add onto your post would be appreciated as well!
