PACK WARS EPISODE 9

We are back in what could be the finale of this segment.

Let's see if that brings us some luck shall we?
 VS
I finally got my hands onto some 2020 Mosaic through a trade and it will take on a blaster of Chronicles Draft 2021 I found at Walmart.

Let's wage a battle!

Mosaic first...hoping for some fun.

Meh...wasn't as much fun as I expected and now I own 5 of these Jones since many mailed them to me.

Chronicles time,

(nice!)

Lawrence !

Silver Wilson

(surprise auto...defensive player...ugh)

And Kyle Trask to end it. I feel like I keep pulling that guy.

Well....if I was to take a vote here...I would say Chronicles because of the better rookie cards. Mosaic had the shine, but wasn't quite what I anticipated.

Let me know your thoughts and the winner in the comments!

Breakin' Wax:2021 Chronicles Draft Picks Football Blaster Box

Wait...two boxes of football found in one week.

And this one being amazing and possibly my break of the year? Yup, that happened.
2021 Chronicles Draft Picks football comes with 4 packs of 5 cards which I didn't realize when I paid the $20 for it. So it was a gamble for me with no guarantees other than 3 blaster exclusive pink parallels.

Let's see how I did including kicking it off with this Select Silver of Trevor Lawrence which was a huge hit for retail!

The Lawrence in my first pack alone was worth the break. A second Lawrence was a bonus and the last pack with a Kadarius Toney was just the break sealer for my best break so far this year. That includes hobby.

Let me know your thoughts on Chronicles and this break below in comments.

Breakin' Wax:2021 Prestige Football Blaster Box

Finally! I found some new football cards that is not Leaf or Sage. Some real football cards, sorry Leaf and Sage. I am more into licensed cards and not unlicensed when it comes to my football collecting.

I was able to secure down a blaster box of 2021 Prestige which is one of my favorite early season releases.

Let's see how it went.

8 Packs of 8 cards per pack. No hit guarantees anymore in blaster boxes I guess other than 3 Diamond Parallels. Blaster boxes of Prestige are $27.99 which is steep. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Here is how I did,

Not too bad of a break. Got a couple of key rookies which is why I wanted it in the first place, though I did want a Kadarius Toney from the Giants.

I hope to find more down the road, wouldn't mind opening up another but was lucky to find this one since flippers are taking them all.

Coffee Break:2021 Leaf Draft Football Blaster Box

*takes a sip, gets ready to rip a blaster box on today's Coffee Break. Wondering if breakfast will come sooner rather than later today...*

2021 Leaf Draft Football Blaster Box
50 Card Set
2 Autographs Per Blaster Packed Separately
$22 A Blaster

Summary:Leaf Draft continues it's run at being one of the first football products that releases around draft time. This year they switched up their usual pack ripping retail experience to simply offering up a complete set of cards along with the usual two autographs.

*takes a sip, begins to ...well...open up a box and a boxed set...not as much fun..*

Here are the key cards that my blaster yielded:

*takes a sip before concluding today's coffee break*

I was pretty bored with this years Leaf Draft retail product. I have nothing against getting a complete set, but I wouldn't mind having a pack or two to rip. Maybe add a pack of parallels, maybe some short prints. Something that would add some perk to this product.

*I need some breakfast before I ramble on about this product, Coffee Card Blogger out!*

I would also like to wish everyone reading today's post a Happy Memorial Day. I hope everyone has a safe weekend, also drink coffee, not alcohol*
