Let's Talk About Sets Volume 45:Noteworthy Adds

Let's talk about sets baby, let's talk about them with me, let's talk about all the good adds that can be, let's talk about sets.

This segment is back and we are getting down and dirty with some set adds. This time my latest help for my 1996 Zenith Noteworthy insert set.

Falling at 1:12, these Noteworthy cards note key stats from the 1995 season. There are 18 in the set to collect in all.

 

With these 7 new adds from Burbank Sportscards Beckett Marketplace (also saved 10% by using code 15Burbank), I am only 5 away from having the set.

What stands out to me, is the rainbow foil at the top and then a sepia foil set in at the bottom. It makes these cards not only shine, but the offset in colors makes them really stand out. 

1996 Zenith was full of great looking inserts and the base set as well. I completed the Z-Team chase but still have the football base, the 5 Noteworthy, and most of the Rookie Rising still to chase from the product before I am happy with it.

Plenty of Sets to come. You can chase sets at any age.

Let's Talk About Sets Volume 36:1996 Zenith Noteworthy

1996 Zenith has been one of my favorite products over the years and ranks in my Top 5 overall favorite products all time. I think one day I should make a list of those.

What do you guys think about that?

These Noteworthy inserts are shiny pieces of wonderful art and fell 1:12 packs which is two per box.

 

For me I like the rainbow foil over the top of the sepia shine makes this card really stand out. If only we saw cards like this today.

I was able to build what I have so far from busting boxes. It's also one of my more favorite boxes to open. I actually have one in wait for me still.

As for my set of Noteworthy I am trying to build, this is all I have for now, still a long ways to go with the 18 card set,

Sets Of My Childhood THE SERIES! Part 23:1996 Zenith Noteworthy

Sets Of My Childhood THE SERIES is a spinoff from just a want list. I decided not only would I make a want list of each of the sets I am chasing in a tab, but I thought a little breakdown and feature may help get me more set help. I am sure many of the sets I am seeking are nickel and dime type of cards so I am hoping my trader friends can be on the lookout for any I don't have.

1996 Zenith as an overall product, other than Spx, was my favorite. The base cards were elegant, the inserts were shiny and they seemed to have held their value over the years. I busted a ton of packs in 1996, which wasn't cheap by the way, and even busted some boxes in the last few years. I probably have the base set but am not sure. It is a need on my Sets Of My Childhood so if you find one or have one to trade let me know!!!!

 

Falling 1:12 packs, Noteworthy takes a special note of each player featured from their 1995 season. The top part of the card feature a rainbow foil and the bottom more of a dull look. But looking at the card straight on looks great.

There are 18 cards in the set and all I have is three so far so I have a long journey to go to complete this one. But, I really hope to.
