Review: Panini Prominence Football 2012

Prominence Football is well...going to be PROMINENT...otherwise famous.  The product from the outside has a shiny box. You open it up (by pulling it out on the side) only to find a shiny wrapper. There is only one pack. The one pack contains 8 of the thickest juiciest cards you could own. Each one is numbered and is thick enough to use for a sandwich bread.

Packaging: Andrew Luck, shiny, what more could you ask for. I would pick one up. The details of the contents also stand out.

Back of a Legends Base Card
Base Cards and Parallels:  These cards are so high glossed and thick its really hard to tell you until you see them in person. These would make the perfect cards to use in retail stores..it would be impossible to feel these out for pack searchers. All cards seem to be the same thickness.

Each base card has three different versions..silver, gold and blue. That makes this product a challenge for set collectors but also makes it fun.

Autographs: You get two autographs and one jersey card per box. We got a Ben Tate auto, our first one and its pretty exciting knowing if he ever gets on a team to start this could be a valuable auto to have. And this auto is numbered to 50. Also not pictured is a auto/prime jersey redemption card of Brian Quick.

Memorabilia:  Finally...a RG3 hit! He is partnered up with future Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. I like the design of these.

Overall: All rookie cards seem to come in terms of autographs. The cards look great with high gloss, foil and in terms of design. Hit quality is good and this product seems to have a lot of reward to it if you hit it big. And you have many ways to hit it big with the rookies.  It is like the hockey version of Rookie Anthology where Panini takes all of their favorite rookie card designs such as manufactured letter patch autos, field autos, and more and has included them all right into this tightly packaged product. I would personally say give this product a try.

Ratings:  Bloggers Note: Our ratings are based specifically on the blaster, box or packs we opened and do not express what the overall product could bring. Ratings based on a 1-5. 1 Being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
