2015 Wallet Card Finale!

Well, a year has passed since I stuck a piece of cardboard under my bum, let's take him out of the wallet  see how he fared....

 

Honestly, he isn't that bad at all.I have seen others look MUCH MUCH WORSE. A slight crease in the right hand corner and a few small nicks on that side too and that's about it. 

So. now I must decide what to do with this card and if I will join in again on the wallet card craze. Not leaning either way on those answers yet but will decide by months end.

In the meantime, I will give Matt some fresh air cause who knows what it was like riding in a wallet for a year....especially after I had some spicy food ;)

My #WalletCard Got Some Whoopie

You read this headline right, my #WalletCard needed a break from my wallet for a bit to get some whoopie............................PIE that is. I had just made some homemade whoopie pies from scratch and decided the least I could do for a friend who rides in my wallet is let him in on the action.

Here is Matt having a blast! Guy loves his whoopie!

Later on after letting him have some whoopie, I decided before he goes back into the wallet that he needed to get some exercise. Crazy guy chose skiing. Will never understand why..he just sunk right in.

So Matt found his way back into my wallet shortly after. I am not quite sure when or where I will let him out next. When I do, I will make sure to let you guys see.

My Wallet Card

Wallet Card. Most of you are like, huh? What is Wallet Card? Believe me, I felt the same way earlier today when seeing the phenomenon take off. Now I will be participating in it.

Wallet Card is a new game announced at Baseball Card Breakdown, a blog I just found today, in which you select a specific card, carry it around in your wallet for a whole year, take pictures of the card periodically and post them on your blog.

I spent a few minutes this afternoon searching for the right card to carry around in my wallet for the next year. Baseball Card Breakdown said "It should be a card that makes you smile every time you see it", then I finally came across one that would make me smile. Look at the guys expression.

To me, many things come to mind when I see this card and picture it in my wallet.

"Dude, you just sat on me."
"What did you eat, oh my gosh, I am on one knee I can't take it!"
"Are you kidding me? You are putting me back in there...ugh!"

And on and on and on. Every time I open my wallet I could probably come up with a new caption for it.So starting today til a year from now, Matt Guokas will be taking a ride, walk or jog with me. I will pull him out every once in awhile to show you guys how he looks and show the many places he may visit. I hope you enjoy this. I think it will be a lot of fun to see what condition the card is throughout the year til next year.
