Rodney's Cardboard: 1994 Pro Line Live Printing Plate

It's Sunday and the final week of the NFL regular season. A day I used to dread the past six years knowing the Giants season was coming to an end. But, not this year.

The Giants are on the road in Philadelphia in a pointless game for them and I am hoping they give their starters some rest. Though I would love to beat Philly and make them lose the number 1 seed, but we have a playoff game we need to be healthy for.

I DO HATE PHILLY.

Let's move on from that topic as that could turn into a blog post alone and tackle today's latest Rodney Hampton add which came thanks to a gift from my buddy Wes formerly of JBF blog fame.

He not only sent today's Rodney, but seven others that took a trip with it in my Christmas mail day.

You read that right, SEVEN.

Out of those seven, four of those were printing plates or as they called them in the 90's, Press Plates.

This one is from 1994 Pro Line Live, a one-year product.

Thoughts on my latest Rodney Hampton add welcomed in comments and a thanks to Wes again for the add.

Good luck to your NFL Teams and I hope the Giants can pull off the upset with backups.

Have a great Sunday!

Christmas Card 4

Sometimes Cardboard Comes Back

You ever regret trading something away? Like fully regretting it?

That's what happened to me recently when I traded off a Vladimir Guerrero Jr auto from Leaf Flash. Was it because it was shiny? Was it because he has potential? Or was it because he is the son of Vlad Sr who I liked? Whatever it was, I regretted it so had to get it back.

Luckily the guy I traded it to in Bubba's Sports Cards on Twitter was more than happy to trade it back and he sent along some free friends with it.

Hampton Pro Line Live limited to just 40,000! Not sure if I had this one or not so he passed it along just in case.

Finest Hampton

Summitt parallel. Love this product.

And Vlad with his terrible signature arrived back home. Just something about this card.

A thanks goes out to Bubba's Sports Cards again for making this trade with me and letting me get my Vlad back.

I now pass the question onto you<<<<<<
Have you ever sold or traded a card off you regretted? Did you get it back? Let me know in comments!

Sunday's With Rodney:1994 Pro Line Live Autograph

In my last Rodney Hampton feature I showcased the 1997 Stadium Club Co-Signers autograph addition, this week I wanted to showcase another recent autograph addition thanks to my buddy Bryan over at 90's Niche Football Card Blog.

With this latest autograph addition, it puts only a couple autographs away from having all of his.

This one is not a particularly easy find. Boxes of 1994 Pro Line Live were limited to just 150,000 and you can only find one autograph per box. Back in the 90's, these numbers actually meant something.

The card itself is nice. I like the action photography despite photo selection could have been better. The autograph is on card and I like Rodney's signature. There is also something with hand numbering that always gets me extra excited.

The back of the card is a little bland, but has the guarantee that the autograph is authentic.

I would like to thank Bryan for the help again in helping me track this card down.

If anyone has any Rodney's on THIS LIST that are just sitting around their house collecting dust, just let me know!
