MONSTER TRADE COUNTDOWN CARDS # 1

As you know by now, I PC Griffey the most among my many other collections, Rodney Hampton is second. So it was obvious to me when Project Pedro Blog pulled this in that USA Champions case break, I had to find a way to get it.

 

To your surprise, I bet you wouldn't have known this is my very first Griffey auto card. I do have one auto/mem card, but when it comes to straight auto cards, this is it. My Griffey PC is built upon inserts and base card mainly with roughly 12 memorabilia cards. It's a weak PC, but one I am trying to improve upon and this card will move it up a bit.

 

 

My only tif with this card is the sticker seemed to limit Ken from his usual signature as it felt crammed and maybe some missing especially on the right side where it very slightly ran to. But, it's still a beautiful card and one I am very happy to have.

MONSTER TRADE COUNTDOWN CARDS # 2

Now, try not to drool, I know I am trying not to. But, this thing is a piece of beauty.

Shane pulled this in his 2013 Panini USA Champions case break and it was a card I never forgot about. Like I said yesterday, I like to collect the not-everyday-relics.

This is my first 1/1 Game Used USA Flag Patch of current Arkansas Razorbacks pitcher Dominic Taccolini. From doing some research on him it seems he has a very bright future ahead. You can read up on him right to, HERE.

I haven't found any info on if he was drafted anywhere yet, but if you know this info please feel free to share it to me in comments.

 

I will say this time and time again, this USA Champions product is way underrated. There is some incredible stuff to find in there including pulls like this. I pulled a pretty nice 1/1 patch back in 2013 from the product to. 

Thoughts on today's addition and thoughts on Panini's USA Champions baseball product are welcomed too!

MONSTER TRADE COUNTDOWN CARDS # 9

As you readers know, I am a little bit of a prospecting guy. However, my approach is a bit different then others as I don't just load up on one guy or another, I try to take a look at each and secure myself with at least one card of each player.

One of those players that came out of the woods that I thought I had was Rockies Trevor Story who is taking cardboard by storm. What I didn't realize is that I was missing him til I started this MONSTER TRADE with Project Pedro Blog. No more though! Thanks to Shane I was sent this Bowman Platinum.

And of course we know all about this guy already, I have the jersey card version and when he pulled this in his USA Champions case break I knew I had to trade for it to make the match.

 

 The buildup on this trade continues! I will tell you this right now the Top 3 cards are pretty amazing, at least to me. So let's continue more of this journey to there tomorrow!

Breakin Wax: 2013 Panini USA Champions Baseball Hobby Box (BRYANT!!)

Mucho fun and value! That's what I consider 2013 USA Champions to be. Lots of hits, fun inserts and surprises around every corner. I could buy this again and again. Probably why this is my third go.

Here is a quick Box Break Down. I didn't get a box picture. I am getting bad at that lol. There are 24 Packs Per Box and 8 Cards Per Pack. You will find Two Autographs and Three Game Gear Memorabilia Cards Per Box on average. I have gotten extra hits in my breaks. Boxes average......$32. Crazy!!!!

I didn't post the base, well, I have plenty of other times. I would like to note that I haven't yet got a Bryant base card in three tries.

My inserts.I like the design on these. Everything balances out nicely and it fits the theme.

SHINY!!!! Gotta love the Certified inserts included. Not to mention, Die Cuts.

My autographs were okay. Mulder the best of the two.

My memorabilia could have been better if I had pulled a....

Oh wait...I DID!! By far my best Kris Bryant card. Can't go wrong finding this in a $32 box.

Overall, I want more. The price is so good, the cards look great and the chance at pulling a top tier autograph including Kris Bryant makes this product a top choice when I go shopping online. Hopefully with my birthday up next month I can look into another box then.

Breakin Wax:2013 Panini USA Champions Baseball Retail Box Break

I think 2013 USA Champions baseball was a very underrated product and still is. So when I had an opportunity to open up a retail box with three hits in it for $20, I jumped all over it.

In every box of 2013 USA Champions baseball retail box, there are 24 packs with 7 cards per pack. You also get one autograph and two game used cards per box for a very well priced $20!

The base cards were simple. Red, gold (white) and blue. The design was nice on these player focused cards with the USA flag waving in the background.

And when you have Certified, you are gonna have Mirror Parallels! These look even more impressive.

My hits. There wasn't three....THERE WAS FIVE! That's right, $20 for FIVE HITS. Nice Wacha jersey card right here. Was hoping for a Kris Bryant...maybe next time!

Two autos. Nobody big...yet. That's one cool thing about this product. It has stars of today, yesterday and tomorrow in both jersey and autographed cards. Pretty close to a prospecting product.

Overall, I was speechless and excited. Now I just need to go back for more!
