Each set for each US and Canada is of 15 cards. That are broken down into 5 card subsets. There are five cards per pack in each. One card is a checklist while others are the base cards. Also look for randomly inserted autographs. We didn't pull any. The card stock is very high gloss and a very well design for both as well. The checklists only allow you to hit star players. You cannot go wrong.

I have always been an UD fan. I like their sharp photography use on their cards. As for the Hockey day promo I would like to see more players and more cards involved with it. It seems a bit limited.
ReplyDeleteUD is my favorite card company because if their excellent photography and overall quality of product.
ReplyDeleteI would greatly expand the amount of hobby shops as there were none in South FL that took part in the program, None in GA, and only 1-2 in the DC area. There are hockey fans all over the place but at least start by focusing on current and former NHL markets...then AHL...ECHL...expand the program!
Well have never collected hockey cards before. But since living in Sioux Falls now I'm a huge hockey fan. The UD cards look awesome. Would like some Chicago Blackhawks cards since I cheer for them. Enjoy watching and hearing about former Sioux Falls Stampede players.
ReplyDeleteAgree with everyone above. It's too limited in players and limited in location. Hockey is worldwide and the fans are hungry.....Feed Them All!!!

I have seen nothing but excellence from UD cards. Everything about them just screams AWESOME!! The photography of these cards is just out of the world. I very rarely collected Hockey cards but since my first pack of hockey cards. I have been hooked. And it's all thanks to the quality of the product.
ReplyDeleteI'll add to the majority vote here. It seems limited on players and limited on location. If you expand on both those things, just think how much more Upper Deck would blow up.
Forgot to mention this is Justin (@JdoggNoland)
DeleteI like the way they have done it!! Anything free these days is great!! I think in the future they should add redemption cards into the set for signed pucks, vintage cards, etc!!!
ReplyDeletesorry comment above about redemptions and etc is from Jeff Hoyle TY
ReplyDeleteUD is awesome for doing this especially with hockey cards to bring attention to the sport. It would be awesome in the future to see random relics or autos, or have the chance to win game tickets!
ReplyDeleteI liked it, but I'd have both Canadian and U.S. players available in each country.
