Today's Topic will be about Memorabilia Cards
Do you collect them anymore? Do they still have a place and relevant now-a-days? What would you do to fix the overflow of them? How about game worn memorabilia vs rookie premier shoots known as player worn?
Let's hear your thoughts!
I am not crazy about cards with bat and jersey pieces in them, except for great old players. I got one with Ruth/Gehrig/DiMaggio, love that one. I have maybe 4 pages of these memorabilia cards in my albums. What i do like though is AUTOGRAPHED cards, i have a lot of them, many are really old Yankee players and many are current and even minor league Yankee players. Love the autographs, all types, cuts, stickers, and on-card autos. Of course, on-cards autos are the best for modern players. For the old guys you have to have cuts, and if done right, they can look really good, as long as its a solid background, not a cutup picture or card where you can hardly see the autograph. I have never, not once, pulled a Yankee autographed card from a pack, i have had to buy them all one by one, mostly on Ebay. I dont buy cards that were supposedly signed in person, i only buy cards produced by the card companies as i trust the signatures more that way.
