Eli Manning #1,133

Another day, another Eli.

Eli Manning #1,133 was acquired because I dig shiny cards and this shiny card is /150. This card is out of Panini's 2024 Black Friday set.

I am not usually one for non-photograph looking base, but I actually think this one is pretty eye catchy so thought I would add it.

25 Days Of Cardmas Day 6:Happy Loganodays

NASCAR isn't something you tend to think about in the winter time here. Though snow covered roads would make that sport more interesting.

But, what I do think about is my nephew.

Out my kitchen window, you can see a big field. In the winter time, we will have days where the snow may melt or there may be some freezing rain and in the middle of that field, the water will collect and create a small ice rink or as my nephew saw it, a new place to drive his car.

I remember looking out my kitchen window close to Christmas and seeing him drive his car slowly out in that field and out of nowhere he started to do donuts in the field. He spun and spun and spun again. That was up until he hit a ice chunk that bounced the car off from it and stopped it in its tracks. I tried to hold my laughter in but man did I let it out and even had recorded it all on my phone. We must have laughed about that for years until my phone died and I no longer had the video to watch.

Great memory regardless of having the physical video as it still remains in my head.

In 2017, Panini included some Santa Hat relics in their Black Friday product from a variety of sports.

How many of you ever driven your car like that?

Breakin Wax:2015 Panini Black Friday 3-Pack Break

For the first time ever, I actually had the chance to open some Panini Black Friday packs, a hobby dream of mine. Yes, I dream small.

So with a purchase (which I will show the results of at a later date), I managed to land three packs. Yes, it was sadly only three packs, but three is better than zero. You can only fit so much into your budget.

In every pack of 2015 Panini Black Friday packs are two cards and one "filler" card. You can land these through different online sites, eBay or by visiting your LCS on Black Friday if they are participating.

Pack 1: Not bad, Beastmode and Anthony Towns.

Pack 2: Not too shabby either. Tom Brady and Bears first rounder Kevin White.

And the final pack had some boom. Nolan Arenado and then Devante Parker cracked ice Breast Cancer Awareness towel prime swatch. This card has a place in my collection. My Mother In Law went through chemo and radiation this year for it so it's a great card to have to celebrate her braveness and the card looks sweet.

Here is the hit up close. Really nice looking card done by Panini here. I like the uniqueness of the towel swatch too.

Overall, can't complain with this three pack break. Some big name players and a nice hit. I am not sure what the numbering is on these as Panini doesn't like to release that info but I would assume /25 or less.

Now I gotta ask, how many of you busted some Black Friday packs? If you didn't, what are your thoughts on my break?

Box Breakers: 5 PACKS OF PANINI BLACK FRIDAY 2012

I didn't get my hands onto any of these last year..but I did this year. Was pleasantly surprised with the results. This was a 5 pack break. Let me know your thoughts on this promo.

Should have taken pic before busting..but couldn't help myself

These are going on eBay for $5 each

Love these. Only five made!

Really hope he pans out!

The base cards look great. Everything is so shiny. I hope to break some more next year if not this year again. If I can search down some cheap packs somewhere. These babies are still going for a pretty penny on eBay.

Overall I would rate this break based on cost versus what I got a :

5/5

Panini Black Friday Event And Gallery

While everyone else is running out to the local shopping centers looking for the best deals...I sit back relaxed knowing I got done shopping way ahead of time. I shop all throughout the year to avoid going to fight someone for that last Xbox  game or last Barbie on the shelf just because its a few dollars cheaper. But while I am sitting here...I am however enjoying the pics I have seen all over Twitter for Panini America's Black Friday Extravaganza!

So I couldn't just leave an event so big like this alone. I have to show some pics and give my thoughts on the cards.

Base Card

Panini's Black Friday set is of 50 cards ranging from multiple sports. I really like the silver cardboard look of the base cards.

Super Bowl Memorabilia

For all of you who read this blog on daily or weekly basis..you know I have got to get my hands on the Super Bowl Memorabilia cards. Being a Giants fan I was hugely impressed by the design and very excited that Panini included these into the memorabilia part of the promo cards.

Early asking prices for these cards range from $60-$200 for unsigned. I can only imagine what some of the signed ones will go for.

Insert Card

Everyone knows how RG3 did on Thanksgiving so finding an insert card like this in a pack is not a bad thing at all. Most of these on the bay are going for $10 or more.

Cracked Ice Autos

These bad boys..a combination of the cracked ice insert that is signed. These cards are beautiful signed or not.

These are going for $200+ on eBay signed right now.

This is only a small glimpse of a gallery. There are tons and tons of different base cards, inserts, autos and memorabilia to drool over. So instead of posting what could be a forever look at the Black Friday cards and posting all of the info with them we give you  Panini's Knights Lance extended coverage of the entire Black Friday pics, info and more with all of their links below:

There is an online component of this promo! Just go to iCollectPanini.com and find these packs there! Just make sure you hurry...these are moving faster off the shelves than a Tickle Me Elmo!!

Overall, this years promo should blow away last years numbers as Panini has improved an already successful promo. I stand behind this promo like the other Panini ones. I like how they are taking collecting and kicking it up a notch! Not only awarding us with these tremendous cards as a FREE side bonus for purchasing Panini products from LCS' (which also helps them bring in a lot more customers) and from the iCollectPanini.com site but for always looking out for us as their #1 commitment and not scared to try new things.  Thanks Panini!

Random Card Of The Day: Panini Black Friday Cam Newton Draft Jersey

This was a great promotion done by Panini America..and it also produced some great cards such as this one. Cam Newton had an amazing rookie season and proved many wrong. His Panthers are looking good for this upcoming season.

FAVORITE CARD THURSDAY

I had to choose this card. It's a Panini Black Friday Pro Bowl jersey Card of Drew Brees. I find this card sweet in design, piece of jersey and just looks nice. You could find these in Black Friday packs. I bought it off from eBay. Another reason to post this card if the fact the NFL brought back the Pro Bowl for next season.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS FAVORITE CARD THURSDAY..PLEASE EMAIL US AT sportcardcollectors@hotmail.com AND SEND US A PIC OF YOUR FAVORITE CARD AND WHY!!
