Christmas Break Part 2:2016 Prizm Football Jumbo Pack

In my second break, I busted my first 2016 Prizm football.

Since there is no more football Chrome, this is my chromeified option now. It's not a bad thing as I like Prizm, but I still always had my chrome soft-side.

Each of the Prizm hangers come with a 3-card red-white-blue prizm pack. Mine wasn't the best of players, but Prosise has shown some promise backing up Rawls in Seattle. The Green Prizm of Ervin in this group I pack pulled.

Another Prizm I pack pulled was Nkemdiche. the Peterson is pretty slick looking too in Illumination. That also has the Prizm refractor shine.

And my best find of the box, a Rookie Introductions of the most likely ROTY, Zeke. Card not only looks great but it has a shocking $25 BV too. I need to find myself the Giants from this set.

 

Overall, not expecting any cardboard and finding some was nice. Having a decent pull in each was even better. The eBay gift card wasn't a huge amount, but it was enough I was able to pull him some pretty cool cards that I will show off at a later date.

Christmas Break Part 1:2016 Topps Baseball Series 2

I am a bit behind on posting this, but for Christmas this year, I wasn't really expecting any form of cardboard, but to my surprise, I did find some under the tree along with an eBay gift card.

Best surprise ever.

The pack choices weren't shabby either. A Walmart jumbo pack of 2016 Topps Series 2 baseball and 2016 Prizm Football Walmart jumbo pack.

 

I thought it would be fun to showcase my pack breaks since each had a pretty decent pull for a Walmart pack.

 

Up first, 2016 Topps Series 2 baseball.

 

A couple of rookies.

 

Inserts with some good names. Can't ever go wrong finding Trout in a pack.

 

The Kid! A new Griffey addition. Would love to build this set still.

 

And now my decent pull /50 and found at 1:82 odds. Pink A-Rod.

 

Pretty solid for a Walmart pack in my opinion. I will show off the Prizm break tomorrow so stay tuned!

Christmas Gift # 1. Free Box From Dacardworld.com (Goodwin Champions 2012 Blaster)

So for Christmas every year, I am allowed to give a list of what cards I want for Christmas. Out of that list a couple boxes would be chosen. I will break those down over the next few days to show you how we did.

The first box is a freebie item from dacardworld.com that comes from a list of items you can choose from when you spend over a certain amount.

Goodwin Champions is one of my favorite Upper Deck products. It comes with a fun variety of sports, non sports and personalities. With a blaster box being an option, we were hoping for a pull as well.

 

 

Even though not usually a fan of artsy approaches on cards due to rather having action photography, I do like how Upper Deck did these.There is such a classy approach to the base cards.

Another thing I also like about Goodwins is the added mix of sports and non-sports personalities. Just a fun product seeing who could be in your packs. Also fun at the amazing things you might hit as well.

Overall, not a bad blaster break but nothing overly exciting. I always enjoy minis! Hopefully the rest of the Christmas break will be exciting. As I break each box I will be taking you guys on the ride. So wish me luck!
