Coffee Break:2021 Donruss Baseball Blaster Box #1
2021 Donruss Baseball Blaster Box
88 Cards Per Box
11 Holo Purple Per Blaster
5 Rapture Parallels Per Blaster
$19.99 Per Blaster
Summary:Donruss comes hard hitting with shiny inserts and parallels once again. I know the logos don't exist but I am huge fan regardless especially of the inserts and this years Unleashed.
The base set consists of 262 cards which is base, Diamond Kings, Rated Rookies and 1987 Redux.
There are also multitude of parallels to find, which many you will find in a blaster box. These include, Holo Blue, Holo Orange, Holo Pink, Holo Purple, Holo Red, Independence Day, Liberty, Red /2021, Career Stat Line /500 or less, Season Stat Line /400, One Hundred /100, On Fire /75, Presidential Collection /50, Mask Emoji /19, Artist Proof /10, Press Proof /5, Number One 1/1, and Printing Plates 1/1.
Donruss also brings back plenty of past insert themes along with new ones in 2021 along with a powerful lineup of hits with autographs from Sammy Sosa to relic cards of Babe Ruth.
Here are the key cards I found in this break:

Lords Of The Diamond
For a few months now, @Jake1725 and myself have been working on and off on a trade and knocking out the details on it. I knew in the end we would work it out like we always do, its just sometimes it takes a little longer to do so.
I didn't know completely what I was getting on my end from Jake and on his end was the same from me. All I know is kicking it off with this beautiful Lords Of The Diamond Ken Griffey Jr is a heck of a start.
Wanna feel older? This was Topps 55th anniversary design. We are now in Year 70....Also, remember when we used to be able to spot a gold parallel from Topps easier?
Juan's gone the right way. If you know Donruss 90 and this card, you will get that.
Another new Griffey Jr! Big Fly Zone, he definitely sent plenty of balls that way.
The Franchise Big Hurt
Alex Rodriguez
Three more new Griffey Jr's. I like the Drawing Power insert but the photography on Big Shots takes the medal here.
Five-Tool Talent A-Rod. His sixth tool was cheating the game.
Revolution always came out with a nice base card design, I believe this is my first taste of the 1998 baseball.
I hate to admit it, I like Stick Ums
Randy Johnson Proview. Except this is the gold version I have never seen before.
Some fun 90's chromed inserts
Upper Deck MVP had some nice cards despite being on the same level as Collectors Choice as a brand and cost. These Swing Times also are foiled.
Super Tools. Revert to the comment above about MVP
Some shiny Topps inserts. I wished Topps would do more of these and not so much bland like today's
Bonds Home Run cards. Not sure how many of these should count
Up next, I know it's Collectors Choice and that these Star Quests fell one-per-pack, but these were probably the most eye-pleasers of this group of cards for me.
The blue ones/one star are the easiest to find falling one-per-pack
The green falls 1:8 packs. A tad tougher than the blue level
The Red level falls 1:23 packs.
Almost a complete rainbow of Clemens, just lacking the Gold. That one is really tough to find and numbered to 100. I tried to look on eBay for one just for kicks and didn't see one.
Thanks to Jake for another terrific trade and looking forward to more.

Kicking Off The New Year Right!
My second to last trade of 2019, came from @Alindz99, that was our first trade ever.
What turned out to be a tweet by me looking for a specific card, which he had and I plan to show off soon in a separate post, turned out to be a whole lot more than that. We boomed out a pretty solid trade for both of us in the long run. It's really cool how that works out.
I tried to hit every part of his PC up and he returned the same for me.
Let's check out what I scored, if you want to see what he got he posted his on Twitter.
I told him I like to collect 90's inserts and he delivered with this Mystery Finest of Tony Gwynn.
A Mickey Mantle I hadn't seen before. From an Upper Deck soccer set
I don't have to say anything about this card, it speaks for itself
Really fun Robin Yount. This is when baseball cards were cool
Nolan Ryan sealed Coke set
Andjuar rookie card from Opening Day. His name continues to be tossed around in trade rumors
Hideki Matsui black border parallel numbered
Greg Bird gold border paralell
Tanaka Game Used relic
A-Rod rookie card.
Pele Allen And Ginter No Text Back. Haven't seen one of these in person before. Cool addition.
And of course no trade with me isn't complete without lots of NY Giants.
Some Odell and a nice Wayne Gallman Prizm Silver Prizm
Evan Engram bronze. I have quite a few of these Donruss parallels of Engram. I should probably gather them together again and see where I am at with a possible rainbow.
Engram Phoenix and silver parallel from Select
Kyle Lauletta Optic silver
Totally digging the Rookie Introductions of Shepard. I think the base set should look like that for Prizm
Some examples of why 90's cards are the best especially the mixed in Fleer Metals
Phil Simms rookie card. I do have one, maybe two already but why not another. A Giants legend.
Some Rodney's,I do have them all but I always look to upgrade my not so mint ones. The Tiki I was hoping was Rodney. I really need that 1997 Black Diamond base card. Only one on eBay its $15 for a base
Giants team draft card. Never seen or pulled one of these
Followed up by Bill Parcells. The Giants have had some great coaches over the years, well except the last few. They need to figure it out again. Coaching can really change a team around.
And a nice surprise to finish, a Xena Warrior Princess auto of Cleopatra. Any new addition to my non sports PC is a plus especially an autograph.
