PC Masterpiece:1995 Score Summit Dave Brown

In what I am considering the finale of this segment, I thought I would go out with a small boom. Boom? You question. It's a Dave Brown base card. Huh? Well, First, I loved this product from the 90's. Two, it's a NY Giant and no matter how good or how bad they are, I still bleed blue. Three, I can caption this and nothing is more fun than that.

Now onto the Captions!

"You wonder where the 'Eli Face' started"
"Dave threw another interception"
"Oh man, can't believe mom just saw that play"
"This helmet is waaaaaaayy to small"

Well, that is it for captions and this segment. It's not that I don't have more PC cards to show off in this segment, but it seems this segment is one of my least popular ones. So it's time to move on. But, you never know down the road I may decide to bring it back.

PC Masterpiece:1999 Upper Deck Century Legends Mickey Mantle

What is there not to like about this card? Great photo, Nicely designed card front and back and the obvious part, IT'S THE MICK BABY! I am glad to have this apart of my Yankees PC.

PC Masterpiece:1995 Skybox Premium Pay Dirt Dave Meggett

Today's PC Masterpiece serves as a 90's Flashback post as well, though we still will do one of those this week as well. What I like about this card is the obvious, the shine. The Giants blue against the rainbow foil looks awesome. I just wished my photos on here did some of these awesome cards the justice they deserve!

PC Masterpiece:1994 Upper Deck Home Field Advantage Ken Griffey Jr.

Home Field Advantage easily sums up this picture. Griffey knew the walls of the Kingdome better than anyone.

I really like this card because of the angle of this shot. Griffey was simply an amazing Center fielder before he went to Cincy and Upper Deck captured that a bit here as Griffey is chasing down a long fly ball. This card serves as a reminder about how great Upper Deck MLB cards were.

PC Masterpiece:1999 Upper Deck Black Diamond Single Diamond Derek Jeter

I like this card for many reasons. One, it has etching. Two, the picture is very different and not one I have seen on any other Jeter card. Three, it's Derek Jeter. It doesn't get much better than that.

Cards like this make me miss Upper Deck MLB products. They produced some amazing stuff in the late 90's and this is one of many Jeters I have from that time.

PC Masterpiece:2001 Upper Deck Legends Of New York Yogi Berra ('53 Banner Seasons)

In 2001, Upper Deck dedicated a product to the New York baseball teams Mets and Yankees called Upper Deck Legends Of New York. As the product is called, it sums up all of the legends in those teams histories.

This is one of my favorite cards from the set. I really like the photograph of Yogi they used, the text and the layout of the card. Another thing I like about these base card is the "fuzz" feel in the writing Yankees. I don't know what it is about the fuzz that catches my attention, but it just adds another fun feature to the card.

PC Masterpiece:1994 Topps Ken Griffey Jr.

Today's card is as plain as can be, a base card from 1994 Topps of my boy Ken Griffey Jr.

There are a couple things that stand out to me about this card, the Griffey Jr swing on the front of the card and the picture on the back of the card with his trademark smile. I love both of the photographs which is why this card made it into the PC Masterpiece category.
