I Like Autographs On My Rueben

With a tremendous showing in the NY Giants final two games, Rueben Randle is slowly showing why I have had faith in him all along as one of the Giants top recieveers. I am also glad I was able to "steal" these three new autographs off from eBay for $10.

I like this design, however the ink ran a little on it.

Signed acetate. I just wished it wasn't a sticker auto. Most of the time I am not bothered by sticker autographs, but when they are on clear acetate, they really stand out.

Then my favorite pickup of the group. I scored this one for under $4.
I would think with Randles outstanding play in the final two games that he would be back next season, but it's the NFL so you never know. Either way, I still plan on continuing to collecting him it would just be a lot easier if he played for my team too.

What's In The Mail Box?

With the MLB season soon upon us, I sat down and looked through my rookie folders and asked myself, who am I missing? Then one stuck out....I didn't have the one of the leagues young stars..Mike Trout.

I then began to eBay research for some true rookie cards. I really wanted the Topps Update rookie, but wasn't willing to shell out the big bucks being asked for it. So instead I looked in Beckett and found he had a Bowman Draft rookie. Most were going reasonably priced. This one, for a little over $9. Great investment I would say.

As always, comments are welcomed!

eBay Pickup

Recently bought this lot off from eBay. Was a mixture of sports and came with 2 jersey cards. Most importantly some of the money paid for the lot went to a good cause so couldn't go wrong with it. I like to help out as many causes as I can whether in big or little ways. And the cards were just a bonus.

Handful of commons including Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Marshall Faulk among others

Best basketball rookie

Liked finding the Seau, Alstott, and Bledsoe rookies

This was the best of the best. John Kruk, Dave Righetti, Harold Baines and Kirk Gibson rookies.

Not bad jersey card in Curry. And no thats not Sanchez..thats the infamous Clemens
Overall didn't think it was a bad buy. With some of the proceeds going to a great cause and the cost of the lot around $20 I would probably take the chance again. You never know what you can find. My favorite find out of this lot has to be the Kirk Gibson rookie.

What were your thoughts on my lot pickup? Do you take chances on these types of eBay lots sometimes?
