Breakin Wax:1997 Scoreboard Playbook Football Pack

1997 Scoreboard Playbook is surprisingly a product I had never heard of. If it hadn't been for a Jammin JD Sport Card break of a pack I may had never tried it. Of course the chance at a fun looking insert (I Googled Images) and possibly an autograph was also a sure lure-in.

So let's see how I did.

Each pack of 1997 Scoreboard Playbook football comes with 5 cards. Packs run for $2.00 on the Jammin JD Sports Card website and you can find those HERE.

First off, my pack only had only 4 cards. Curse you Score Board. I can't even complain to you now!!

But, at least my pack contained these two. Good players. The base cards are kinda unique as well. A couple different designs depending on position.

Here are the QB designs. Good ole Druckenmiller, found him in about 1,000 packs in the 90's. Only thing cool about him was his name.

 

Overall, not bad not great in this pack. I am kinda curious what that 5th card could had been. Was it an autograph? Was it an insert? I guess I will never know but I can always be curious and had hoped for the best.
