Flair Set Needs Mail Day

Earlier this week, my buddy on Twitter @JGfan24ever, told me he had a couple of cards for my 2014 Flair Football Set needs and that he would mail them out.

They arrived yesterday.

I am still in the works of trying to complete all three rows in my 2 year project and these two will be a help.

Huge thanks to Michael for the set needs!

Triple Mail Day Threat!

Saturday was my only mail day of last week and it came packing with goodies!

Up first, one of my favorite mail days, a Grady M one. These boxes have so much great stuff and variety. I will be breaking down what I got inside soon! Unlike past mail days from him, I will try to sum up what I got in two parts instead of seven.

Up next, I was a bit surprised to find a PWE in my mail box from @JGfan24ever as I wasn't expecting one. Inside, I found two NEW Odell Beckhams for my PC. Thanks Michael again for your generosity.

My final mail day came from @TopShelfBreaks and one of their Gold Mystery Dynamix Boxes that I had won an RT contest of on Twitter. Thanks again guys! I am a big fan of Panini's promo cards and Cracked Ice. As for Graded Cards, this is one of the very few I own now.

The card is also limited to 25.

Can't complain about this kinda mail day.. Thanks to all parties involved!

Contest Mail Day From @JGfan24ever

Earlier this week I won a PWE contest from @JGfan24ever on Twitter who is not only the generous person you will meet, but is one of the nicest. He hosts these contests from time to time and always makes sure that everyone is doing well. Like I said, he is a great guy.

In this contest, up for grabs was this Panini Contenders College Ticket autograph of Chasson Randle. If you are a dedicated reader of this blog, you know my passion for Contenders and rookie autographs. So I was very happy I was the winner.

Once again, I will state how great of a guy he is. He also threw in this awesome Odell Beckham Jr card I didn't have. The design is pretty rad and it also captures the one handed catch. It actually doesn't bother me either that it doesn't have logos. The layout is just done well.

A big thanks goes out to Michael for the mail day and the bonus. And if you have Twitter but are not following him, I suggest you start following.

Contest Mail Day From @JGFan24ever

On Twitter, you can find some amazing collectors and one that comes to mind right off is Michael. Or on Twitter, @JGFan24ever. Every once in awhile he holds a few #PayItForward contests where he puts cards up for grabs from all three major manufacturers. All you have to do is tweet out corresponding hashtag.

Last week I was a lucky winning recipient. Here is what I scored....

Boom! My boy Odell. Can't wait to see him back on the field again.

And this auto of Rex Burkhead. This is a nice add because I both enjoy the flashback design and the fact the card is a rookie auto.

I just wanna say thanks again to Michael for this sweet mail day and if you are not following him yet on Twitter, please do so. He not only does giveaways, but is truly a great guy.

Contest Win Mail Day

I won a contest recently on Twitter from blog reader Michael McMannis and landed this sweet rookie auto to my PC:

It's a great addition as I enjoy collecting rookie autographs especially from Contenders.

A big thanks goes out to Michael for this nice addition. If you have Twitter, I suggest you go give this great guy a follow @JGfan24ever.

2-Part Mail Day...Awesomeness to View

In this two-part mail day I recieved today, the first part is from a Twitter contest and the second part is from a trade/fun acquisition.

First, a shout out to Michael McMannis on Twitter for this two rookie Prizm card parallel mail day. I am a huge fan of these parallels and it also fills a rookie card need.

Now onto the second part of my great mail day. This one comes from my good buddy @DieselDugong and a big thanks goes out to him too. This was a part trade and part just for fun mailing. There are a few people I do this with. I will mail them something, they will return something. It's fun to both put together packages to send them and to see what they return to you. You just never know. It's all apart of the hobby fun.

Now onto this latest edition. Some 90's Topps Gold Giants adds...all new by the way..

My first Topps Triple Threads cards...

These are cool the 2014 Topps Gypsy Queen N174's...

A cool Strahan Classic rookie and Jeter insert.

Some NEW Griffey Jr PC  adds. Love the Swing For The Fences card. Panini did a great job with Pinnacle.

Yogi! #d to 25

This was a sweet addition. Not only a Yankee, but an autograph containing a Bible verse. It's one of my firsts like that. If you are curious what the verse is by the way, it is:

"But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."

And here was the card I traded for in this group. My first Andre Williams auto and my first Slideshow autograph. I am pretty excited about this add.

Overall, both mail day parts were great! Some nice additions to my PC all around.

What's In The Mail Box?

Yesterday, I received this card in the mail that I knew would be arriving soon and one I really wanted to add to my PC. Growing up in the 90's, I was HUGE Knicks fan. I would watch them every time when they played on NBC (didn't have cable back then) that I could. To me, basketball in the 90's was just as important as Saturday Morning cartoons. One of my favorite players, other than John Starks, was Patrick Ewing. Loved watching him play and loved seeing when he posted-up. What a player!

Adding this card of Ewing yesterday marks it as my first memorabilia card of him and I owe a big thanks to Michael Mcmannis, ‏@JGfan24ever on Twitter, for the contest and card. This will forever be in my PC and bring back those nostalgic moments of watching basketball in the 90's. Thanks again Michael and if you are not following him yet on Twitter, please do so. He not only does giveaways like this all of the time, but he is a great guy as well.
