Panini Plates and Patches Football 2011 Review

Base Cards: As you can see the design is very elegant. The red foil looks nice and the medallion shape with the players position and jersey number standout. The marble colored background makes the player jump out at you. Not to mention all of the base cards are numbered.

Inserts: Some parallels to be found here. Gold and Silver respectively numbered to 50 and 100. Not too bad. City Limits insert looks nice with the picture of the city and the gold bottom with the name.

Memorabilia:  They replaced the medallion from the base card with a piece of jersey. Its an ok move because the base cards look nice. I would rather have a different looking jersey card but I guess thats where the Rookie Blitz comes into play. Overall, not to bad.

Autographs: Once again they used the nice looking base card design and put an autograph onto it. The Buster Skrine we got was a parallel so is numbered to 50 and we hit it nicely getting the Jake Locker rookie card auto memorabilia. We may have gotten one color but we have seen some multiple color pieces being used and look great.

Overall: This was a fun product. It could be risky for some....but we felt very rewarded by it. If you are looking for a nice looking simple product, this is where you want to put your money. Another good looking product by Panini.
