A Bump And Run Surprise!

This month has probably been the best mail day month of the year. I have been waiting on a few packages to show up, some great ones that have, but one arrived unexpectedly earlier last week.I am just a bit behind in posting a few things.

Trevor over at Bump and Run Football Cards sent me some surprise "Christmas" cards. Can't ever go wrong with getting surprises :-D

First he included some of what I feel are the most important lyrics from the hymn "O Little Town Of Bethlehem."

 

 He also included one of my favorite insert sets from Topps. Perspectives. I don't have the Tex one yet so it's a new PC add. Really like the angle on his card.

 

Up next, a numbered Ramiro Pena Topps rookie card.

 

Then a sick camo prizm of Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzz

 

And finally a /100 Eli Manning Bravery parallel from Panini football.

 

A Merry Christmas and thanks goes out to Trevor. I appreciate your generosity for the sweet cards. You actually beat me to my plans of surprising some people I had addresses of as I ran out of time in my sorting process.

Merry Christmas..From Grady

I have shown a few times now the results of a surprise mail day from Grady M on Sport Card Collectors Facebook page. To no surprise, this Christmas one was just as amazing as the rest.

Yankee PC adds:

I hated watching this guy play the Giants. He killed them every time, however, I respect him as a player. I also really like this card.

And one of my new favorite cards...I love this die-cut! Card is a beaut in person!

I know some complain about Prizm, but I really like it. Especially the "refractor" parallels.

I really loved this card. I like the memorabilia cards with pieces from non-regular game events. This one is an even worn workout jersey from the All Star game.

And to finish off this very nice mail day a CC Sabathia relic card.

Nice Mail Day From The Pack Gambler

Last week I saw a yellow envelope in my mail box and was completely surprised. I wasn't expecting any packages. I took it out and it was festively decorated with Christmas stickers and then I noticed that it came from The Pack Gambler.

I ran home as fast as possible to rip open this unexpected package and below is what was found:

2 unopened packs of 1991 Action Packed. He must have known my love for 1990's products and football. I was hoping to pull a Favre rookie..here is what was found inside:

And a new Griffey Jr for the PC

I was quite stoked with this package and immediately thanked The Pack Gambler for the early Christmas present. If you guys are not following him on Twitter or Facebook, you are missing out. He is one of the great guys in the hobby who cares about it and other collectors and I have been saying that long before this package showed up. This is just another example of it.
