Random Cardboard:2020 Topps Chrome Pink Refractor Bryce Harper

Summer Of Wes Card #17

Pink Week: Day 4

Collecting Cutch runs a second base filled month of pink cards over on his blog and has recently challenged us bloggers to post pink cards and get comments on said cards. For every post we make that features a pink card, and YOU GUYS comment on, he will donate $1 per comment to Save Second Base.

So I am thinking, the more posts, the more comments, the more I challenge him to donate. So I have grouped six groups of pink cards to show off this week and am CHALLENGING YOU to comment on each post.

I probably had enough pink cards to go the whole month, but, I will cut Cutch a break and just do it for six days.

I will say though, I am not doing this just for Cutch's challenge sake, I am doing this because it hits close to home as well as my mother-in-law had Breast Cancer and I saw all that she had to go through with treatments to clear herself of it. She has now been 5 years clear. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone so the more we can save Second Base, the better.

Here are today's cards,

If you want to make your own private donation please visit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  There is a donate button on the main page and it only takes a minute of your time.  Every little bit helps.

Box Of Goodies:Grady M Strikes AGAIN! Part 9

Today marks the finale of my latest mail day from Sport Card Collector's reader, Grady M.

Lot's of 2016 Topps Chrome refractors. Gardner and Chapman for the Yanks PC.

Some more good players mixed in here including Fernandez and Cano.

Some Prism refractors including 3,000 hit master Ichiro and Bat Tossin' Jose Bautista.

Purple and Blue numbered refractors

And many pinks followed with the likes of A-Rod, Tex and Verlander.

Well, this marks the end to another excellent mail day from Grady M. Like I said, this wasn't all of it as it may have taken me a month to post it all.

Many thanks goes out to Grady for this mail day and I hope to put something together for you soon.

It appears I have a lot of sorting to accomplish and am heading there to start now.

Thanks for reading and checking out this mail day series.

Breakin Wax:2015 Topps Chrome Baseball Hanger Box

I am a huge Chrome fan as you all know. So without a doubt I needed to get my hands onto some 2015 baseball.

I have heard that finding retail Chrome has been a challenge. This hanger was my only find of the product at my local Walmart. I really wanted a blaster but took what I could get.

In every hanger box of 2015 Topps Chrome baseball is sixteen cards. Yes, sixteen cards. Four of those cards will be pink refractors but there may be other refractors or even an autograph hidden within this $9.98 box. My only problem with it was that these weren't individual packs of four. All sixteen cards were in one see through pack. I prefer opening up multiple packs.

The design is the Topps flagship but chromed. The flagship design, best in years, already looked good without the chrome. Now it's even better! A few good players mixed in here.

A couple here

And a couple of rookie cards here. No Kris Bryant however which was my main chase. I have heard his retail rookie is next to impossible to land from a few collectors.

And here are my pink refractors. Strasburg to me is the highlight of the group but none of these guys to me are big time stars. I do like the pink refractors however. Really cool!

Overall, Chrome usually brings the best value on the retail market. Not sure I felt that way after this break. I was actually quite bored with it and was disappointed that it ended so fast. I would hope a blaster box would bring much more joy. But, just gotta wait and see if I can find one.

MY NEW CHROME RAINBOW PLAYER REVEALED!

Well, this has been something I have been keeping secret awhile now....I have changed my Topps Chrome rainbow focus from Dean Anna to....

RUEBEN RANDLE!

At this point you are probably wondering why I am changing it since you only see one card...well....that's cause the rest are not here yet! This pink refractor /399 is only the beginning. Wait til you see how far I have come on this and how much I have spent to do so.

I will be publishing a new post each time a new one arrives while adding the other ones in my possession to the post as well.

Stay tuned as there is plenty more to come!
