Coffee Break:2021 Donruss Fat Pack
*coffee is in hand along with a pack of cards. I will make sure the pack doesn't get coffee-drowned. Instead it will be ripped in the latest Coffee Break!*
30 Cards Per Pack
3 Holo Red Per Pack
1 Rapture Parallel Per Pack
$9.97 Per Fat Pack
The base set consists of 262 cards which is base, Diamond Kings, Rated Rookies and 1987 Redux.
There are also multitude of parallels to find, which many you will find in a blaster box. These include, Holo Blue, Holo Orange, Holo Pink, Holo Purple, Holo Red, Independence Day, Liberty, Red /2021, Career Stat Line /500 or less, Season Stat Line /400, One Hundred /100, On Fire /75, Presidential Collection /50, Mask Emoji /19, Artist Proof /10, Press Proof /5, Number One 1/1, and Printing Plates 1/1.
Donruss also brings back plenty of past insert themes along with new ones in 2021 along with a powerful lineup of hits with autographs from Sammy Sosa to relic cards of Babe Ruth.
*takes a sip, begins to rip*
Here are the key cards I found in this break:
That was a short break, probably shorter than most real-life coffee breaks at work. Unless you sneak that extra cup or have a co-worker make a Dunkin' run on company time. I think we all have been there at least once.
*takes a sip*
The pack didn't provide me with much for my collection other than some Rated Rookies. It was still a fun rip regardless and gave me an excuse to come on here and drink more coffee. Not that I need to. Okay, I need to.
*takes another sip, Coffee Card Blogger Out!*

REVIEW:2018 Topps High Tek (GREAT BREAK!)
Bringing back those late 90's feels, Topps High Tek returns again for 2018 and I have no complaints about that. Well, except trying to figure out all of the pattern madness which is something I am still working on since the 90's.
This break was a really good one and you will see why as you read on!
From my research, this appears to be a High Tek Pattern Variation of Ronald Acuna Jr from the NL design. Not a bad player to find like that and not the first you will hear of this name in this break.
Other rookies I found in the box,
Parallel finds in this box provided some serious heat!
Here is the overall look at the parallels and how they line up,
Ozzie Albies who also could have been ROY, green /99
I told you we weren't done with Acuna, Black /50!
And if that wasn't enough for you, here is a red /10! Whoa~! These were found back to back in the pack.
A couple other parallels in the box in blue Dejong and green Mays.
Now onto my autograph finds,
Aaron Altherr was my first one.
And then this Red Orbit Diffractor autograph of Yadier Molina /10!!
Other hits not found in my box but could be in yours,
There are lots of big names in the autograph checklist with legends, veterans and rookies included. Lots of valuable parallels to chase to. I think the only downside for me is once again the base cards where I can't tell the differences very well. I will probably need to do more serious studying on it.
I suggest if you like Tek before, you will definitely again.
If you can't afford to break a whole box, I suggest getting into a box break and I suggest using Midwest Box Breaks who pull the big cards. They have Topps High Tek one going on now and have affordable prices. Did I mention they always pull the heat? Your mail box will burn down with these guys fire.. Go grab yourself a spot in their 2018 Topps High Tek break HERE.
Please make sure to take a minute out to thank Topps for providing this box for me to review and to be able to add cards to the Topps Of The Month promotion. Enter now!. Follow Topps on all social media sites and visit their SITE, as well.
This break was a really good one and you will see why as you read on!
In every box of of 2018 Topps High Tek baseball you will find 40 cards in one pack. There are two autographs and boxes run just under $100.
I can't explain the base card patterns. But, I have pictured the different ones I found in my box including the diffractors. There are four total designs for each AL and NL making up a grand total of 8 different base card level finds. If that makes any sense to you.
I suggest checking out Cardboard Connection HERE for more help on these.
Overall the base card set contains 112 cards of legends, veterans and rookies.

REVIEW:2018 Topps Tier One Baseball (BONUS HIT)
I have been drooling over Tier One since I saw the preview images. The bat knob cards especially. It's a hobby dream of mine to own one of those someday. I don't care who the player is.
Tier One is one of those high end, high risk, high return possibility products that I am always on the fence with.
This break was a pretty decent one. I have seen some incredible ones and some good ones and some that were flat out fails. It's all about the luck you can have. You take the gamble and you can win big time, but you also have to be aware that you may also fail. Just like with a lottery ticket.
So let's see how my break went.
In every box of 2018 Topps Tier One baseball there are three cards. Yes, three. Two will be autographs and one will be a relic. My box was a hot box with a bonus hit. Boxes run around $120-$150 so you are hoping each card you hit will be worth at least the $50 to break even.
Since there are no base or inserts, we will head straight to the hits.
Tier One relics are all numbered differently, but have an high end design feel to them. The relics come with parallels of Dual Relic /25 and Triple Relic 1/1 and come in veteran/rookie levels along with
Legends ones. I didn't do to shabby with this sweet orange/red swatch from the great Nolan Ryan. I will say this relic looks so much better on the design then the plain white.
There are many autograph options in Tier One, but most commonly you will find the Breakout Autographs. Which is very rookie heavy with 91 in the set. They are numbered /299 or less and have parallels of Bronze Ink /25, Silver Ink /10, and Gold Ink 1/1.
Some of the rookie autograph have 2 versions like this Nicky Delmonico which I pulled the B version I believe and same goes for this...
Ozzie Albies!!!
Other hits not found in my box but could be in yours includes,
- Tier One Autographs
- Tier One Talent Autographs
- Clear One Autographs
- Prime Performers Autographs
- Dual Autographs
- Triple Autographs
- Cut Signatures
- Autographed Tier One Relics
- Dual Autograph Tier One Relic Book
- Tier One Autographed Bat Knobs
- Tier One Autographed Limited Lumber
- Autographed Prodigious Patches
- Signature Tools Autograph Relics
- Cut Signature Relics
- Tier One All-Star Patches
- Tier One Bat Knobs
- Tier One Limited Lumber
- Prodigious Patches
And to see the overall checklist for this product, you can find it here:
OVERALL THOUGHTS.......
Like I said in my opening, it's a high risk product that could potentially give you a high return. My box was an good break saved by the Ozzie but still not as great of a box as it could be.
But, with so many big hit options to find, if you are one who likes gambling and like big time hit chances, this is the product to give it a go in.
If you are like me who can't really afford a product like this, find a breaker. It will feel like less of a gamble that way if you go hitless or don't hit it big.
As in terms of design, the product looks nice from top to bottom. The patches are sharp and the other relics look good in the design.
I do suggest giving the product a try no matter how you want to. The big hits are waiting for you!
Thanks goes out to Topps for providing this box for me to break, show the hits to you and to review. Some of the hits in today's break will be used for a variety of contests so you can reap the benefits of Topps providing me this box to break. Please give them a thank you for doing this so we can continue to do this. Also, check them out on all social media sites and on their website which you can find HERE for all of your MLB, MLS, Walking Dead, and more needs.

Random Card Of The Day: Yadier Molina Upper Deck Signature Sensations auto
Feeling a little baseball today..even though it is playoff Sunday in the NFL. Without the NY Giants in the playoffs they are just not the same so I am counting down to baseball season and new baseball cards on the market with updated stats, team photos, rookies, etc.
Hmmmm...what can we say about this card...that maybe in the future this could be a card we giveaway..well..wouldn't want to give any hints away. But he has hard to find autograph cards and we were lucky to have one in our collection. These cards are going for more than $40 on eBay.
And yes...this will most likely be in a future giveaway down the road... we will have to see and you will have to wait :)
