Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week: 1990 Donruss

Bold and bright and so 90's, Donruss baseball may have been one of my first Griffey adds to my collection as there are plenty of these cards around at a very reasonable cost.

Looking back on this card now, I really like the photograph. It's as if he is saying, "Go ahead, pitch to me. I got this."

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Panini Black Rookie Patch Auto

This 2012 Randle Panini Black is my favorite Randle card I own.The dark card against the blue of the Giants, the bright red patch and gold signature just draws your eyes in.

Try not to do what I do and drool on the keyboard as you check this card out.....

Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week: 1998 Zenith Dufex 8x10

This one is one of my all-time favorites. First, let's look at the dufex, man that stuff just shines at you. Secondly, look at the photograph and the way it was taken. How many do you actually ever see taken from that angle? Thirdly, this card looks like either a) a framed photo or b) a TV set. This was just a wonderfully done card that I easily play favorites with. If only more were done this way.

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Crown Royale

This weeks Rueben Randle Card Of The Week is one of my favorite cards of his, a 2012 Crown Royale Rookie Auto Patch Silhouette.

After months and months of attempting to buy this card, I finally not only found one for a great price of $7, but I actually won it for once! I must have missed at least 6 of them either forgetting to bid or the bid going too high for my taste.

Why put such an effort into one card, well, this is one of my favorite designed Panini cards and one I really wanted for my Randle collection. The layout of it is spectacular, the swatches, most of them prime (that was the only negative part about the one I landed because its one color), are a good size and then you add in an autograph and you have a masterpiece. At least in my mind.

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Rookies and Stars Crusade Autograph

This weeks Rueben Randle card was one I picked up a few months ago for under $5. I picked this one up because first, great deal, second, it's Rueben Randle, but third I really liked the design. The card is also a little thicker with extra gloss.

Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week: 1998 Fleer Showcase Trio

I absolutely love this weeks Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week or what should be called Ken Griffey Jr PC "Cards" Of The Week.

I picked up this trio along with the cool three card case at a card show (back when we had them locally) in a trade. Included in this case is three of the four variations you could get in 1998 Fleer Showcase including Row 3, 2, 1. Someday I would love to add Row 0 to this set.

I think these cards look spectacular and I have always been a big fan of Fleer especially Showcase.

Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week:1998 Donruss Studio 8x10

A few weeks ago, I posted up the 1997 version of this card. I couldn't have one year without having the other. I think this one is much better designed with a studio pic of junior and a faded background of him swinging.

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Topps Platinum X-Factor

Today's Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week is a pretty sweet one. I love the parallels that are in products like Topps Chrome and Topps Platinum. They look outstanding on here and even more impressive in person. This one is an X-factor, though not worth much more than its base card counterpart, its a thing of beauty!

With that being said, here is today's Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week:

Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week: 1998 Royal Rookies

Today's Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week is from one of those wall plaques you could find at Walmart or a dollar store awhile ago. These plaques consisted of a players card in a toploader mounted to square wood piece with the player's name on a metal plate under it. They were a fun item to spice up your mancave and a way to display your cards. I still have the four I bought years ago.

Most of the time these had licensed cards in them, this just happened to be one of the rare times they didn't. I snatched it up because I didn't have the card and didn't know if I would ever find one like it again. Either way, it's another nice PC piece and a classic photo shot despite the non-logos.

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Panini Prizm

This weeks Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week is a simple one. I have always wanted another company to come out with their own version of Topps Chrome and that's exactly what Panini did. One thing I like about their version more than Topps is the fact these cards don't bend due to the fact the chrome is thicker.

So here is today's Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week:

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Bowman

For this weeks, Rueben Randle show off, I went Bowman. First I must say that I am not at all a fan of this design. The artsy background, the logoless helmet, and the big writing on the word Giants. But, it is a PC piece and one I am showing off as my PC Card Of The Week.

Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week: 1997 Donruss Studio 8x10 Card

This is the first in many posts in the Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week. So to kick it off, I wanted to show you what I store all of my Griffey cards in....

That's right...a Ken Griffey Jr trapper keeper. I keep it real.

Back in 1997, Donruss Studio created 8x10 versions of their base cards. Today's Ken Griffey Jr PC Card Of The Week is one of those. I really like the picture... but here is the pun on why...it looks like it was taken in a Studio..har har har

Rueben Randle PC Card Of The Week: 2012 Topps Prime

For the first Rueben Randle Card Of The Week, I wanted to show off a card that doesn't have all of the flash, but that I am a big fan of.

Topps releases many football products every year and some I am a fan of, but the one that I really like is Topps Prime. This is the only product where Topps doesn't put a border on the card or use some artsy looking design. This is all about the photography and I totally dig it. Just look at this card and tell me you don't like the clear-cut action photograph of Randle making a nice snag.

Yeah, I thought so. You had nothing to say.
