Holy RAKMacatoney!

Each Monday on Twitter, I run a RAK thread, where you list off what you collect and hope that someone responds to you that they have something for you. If you do get that reply, you must find someone to give to. It's a pretty solid system, though sometimes I see it only as a one-sided RAK. Which I try to correct those who take advantage of it being just that.

I was happy to see a new person join in on the fun and was lucky to be one of the chosen ones by @yefnob1326.

At first was really busy and forgot to mail out, but then, he wanted to make sure it was worth the wait when he did and it certainly was.

I was searching for some Mac Jones cards to add to my rookie PC and he surprised me with a nice relic card of him.

The relic is from 2021 Elements.

Then on top of that, he hit me up with some Kadarius Toney!

And then a huge surprise with a Toney autograph. This is my first Toney Giants uniform autograph.

Comin' In Hot:On The Defensive

I recently pulled off a good sized trade with fellow NY Giants fan @Seth_Murphy8. He had a stack of Giants I was very interested in having. It was such a good sized trade that it takes two parts for me to post it. Stay tuned for the offensive part next week.

So we worked out a pretty fast trade and I got to bring home some much needs for my Giants PC as I still don't have much going into the 2019 season.

Baker had a rough start to the year but seems to be figuring things out. Hopefully he will be a CB one next year.

My second Dre auto. His auto isn't as pretty as Loves.

The Giants received Jabril Peppers and the 17th pick in the draft for Odell Beckham Jr. So far, despite how it sounded unfair at the time, it has been rewarding. Peppers has upped his game and the Giants used that pick to grab Dexter Lawrence who has been a menace up front. As for Odell, well, he isn't having the greatest time in Cleveland. Seems like the Giants won that trade.

Wes' Drops The Giantshammer

I know I have said this on here a few times, but this guy ↓↓↓↓↓

Is pretty awesome.

Awhile back I finished 4th place in his World Cup Of Trading landing me some cards for my PC. Earlier this week, I received the following....

Three new Odells

A shiny Dre. Can't remember if I have this or not, either way it's chrome and it's staying.

Three memorabilia cards. One of Super Bowl 46 hero, yes hero, Mario Manningham. Also ones of Amukamara and Jernigan. Surprisingly didn't have any of these.

One player who has lived up to hype and another who hasn't. Engram will be a Pro Bowl TE by years end being the only reliable weapon on the Giants offense right now. Love the Perkins card, just wished he panned out.

A name I am not spelling out but will say it's spectacular shiny and Thomas autographs.

Here's that Pro Bowl TE again. So glad the Giants drafted him. The only bright spot in a dark year.

And he finish it up with one of my favorites from the mail day, this metal card of Justin Tuck. Now he was a guy that was never a disappointment. Super Cool add. I also had to turn the card to the side to capture this as it has a real unique metal shine.

Project Pedro Trade Recap Part 8: Brett Favre

October has officially been named, Cards I Got From Project Pedro Blog Month.

Today, well, you see a HOFer jersey card, you snatch it. Brett was someone I grew up watching but despising at the same time for his multiple defeats of the Giants. However, I gained a ton of respect for him when he let Michael Strahan, yes let, break the single season sack record.

Did I Make The Right Choice? A Redemption Replacement

Impatient. That is what I am when it comes to redemption cards. First of all, I don't like pulling them. Second, I don't want to wait to receive them. I would much rather get it replaced on the spot! Even if it means losing out on a good player.

Well, last week, my impatience got the best of me. Back in January, I pulled a redemption for a 2014 Panini Contenders Jarvis Landry Rookie Ink auto. I was very excited about the pull knowing of Landry's talent so I told myself, yup, this is one I will hold out for. How could I not want to wait? A Top rookie talents autograph is definitely worth the wait. But, once again, my itching to just have a card instead of patiently waiting got the best of me and I had it replaced with a player from my team instead.

About four days later, this arrived....

It's a beautiful card. Great player and not an easy autograph to acquire and it's on-card. It's also from my favorite team and only my second Cruz autograph.

However, the voice in the back of my head has begun to argue with me over my decision this time. I am usually fine with my replacements, but this time I just wonder about the future prospects of Landry as he has put on another strong showing during OTA's while Cruz, despite a well established player, is coming off from Achilles surgery. I am a bit mixed on feelings.

So I need your help to ease that voice in my head. Did I make the right choice? Would you have waited? What's the best/worst scenario you had when getting a redemption replaced or do you wait for them? Looking for your honest thoughts!
