I Love The Smell Of A Good Trade

Tim from I Love The Smell of Cardboard In the Morning and I pulled off our first trade in some time but it was a good one. He ended up with a really low numbered autograph card he needed for his PC and I ended up with some pretty sweet PC additions.

I must mention I didn't post pictures of everything. He also sent a good stack of base cards as well. I put the focus of this post into the other items instead but I did appreciate it all.

Surprisingly, I didn't have this Big Tuna card. Parcells was one of the greatest Giants coaches ever. Coughlin is right there with him. If only I could have said that about Ben Mcadoo.

 

Some more Jeets. I must be up over 300 different ones now. I will have to do a tally at some point and put the number on the blog.

 

New #AllRise card I didn't have a sweet Odell Beckham Turkey Red rookie I didn't have either.I like the look of the Turkey Red card.

 

Another new Jeter. If I remember correctly these came off of Skippy Peanut Butter lids.

 

My first Yao Ming rookie card. I can officially take that off the want list. Also another new Odell Beckham Jr rookie. This time it's a Topps Chrome mini. I can't wait to see him back on the field next year. This season has not been the same.

 

Shiny DRC and a numbered Reflections of Odell and Calvin Johnson. Cool card. I really like the Score Parallels.

 

Numbered Princes and a new Engram. Can't believe he didn't make the Pro Bowl still.

 

A pretty sweet Nicks and another new Engram on the top. The photo in this one is pretty similar to the last. Prizm parallel of Odell and a trio of Giants.

 

Another Odell rookie! Orange parallel.

 

1996 Spx baseball help. Still more to go.

 

My first Spx basketball towards getting those. I have a very, very long ways to go to get those sets.

 

Paydirt Sanders to help with that set I am trying to put together.

 

Sick, sick, sick Sterling Shepard card. I think this Certified Cuts product looks intriguing. First I have seen of it.

 

A new Wayne Gallman rookie auto. A great looking one as well. This guy I expect a big year from next year.

I Love The Smell Of Surprises

I saw a post on I Love The Smell Of Cardboard In The Morning recently who was offering up some extra NY Yankee team sets he had picked up. Being an area run by the love of Red Sox, I don't usually see Yankee items here so I claimed one of the sets. It fills my Yankee PC, gave me a new Judge and a new Jeter.

Not only did he send the set to me, he also threw in some freebies.

Here is the set. All of the big names included.

Including like I said, Judge and Jeter. This Jeter is one of the very few 2017's I have.

We also stick to NY and some new Giants adds. The Topps Prime photo for Cruz is awesome. That's a cardboard masterpiece.

Odell rookie! I don't have this one and has been one I been needing to add.

Here are a couple of Giants rookies I am expecting to have huge roles on the team this year. Eli could be a shutdown corner and Shepard to get plenty of catches with Marshall and Odell getting a lot of attention. These are also new additions.

Speaking of new additions, back to the Yankees. Don't have any of these as I didn't have the chance to get any Platinum last year. It's actually the same for Platinum this year.

Jeter UD rookie!! As I said in my trade with @Jake1725 who also gave me one, I can never get enough of these.

Don't Judge me for wanting more Judge. Aaron like I have said has brought back my full passion of collecting baseball cards and watching the Yankees again. I have that guy to route on.

4 new minis including only my second Jeter one. All but the Jeter are numbered.

These are always fun to see.

And we finish it up solid with some Mantle and Berra.

I Love the Smell of Cardboard In My Mail Box

I recently pulled off a one card for one card trade with I Love the Smell of Cardboard in the Morning and this arrived in my mail box yesterday. A newbie for the Randle PC making it Randle 103.

 

 

It was a quick smooth going trade and both of us were happy. I would suggest trading with him if you haven't yet and I hope we can trade again.
