Welcome! For the third year in the row Sport Card Collectors has been chosen to host the blogger version of Panini's Player Of The Day.

As in years past, I have found a bigger and better way to host this contest while basically sticking with the same layout. This years promises to be no different.

There will be many mini contests in my Player Of The Day promo (they will be posted over many days), but none more important than the MAIN CONTEST in my promotion that is this one. This is where the bigger prize lots lay. In past years you had to earn points in many different forms and had standings you had to try and move up to gain position to win a prize. Well, that format is a thing of the past. It seemed not enough were participating in those because a couple of people would dominate in points and others felt turned away because they had no chance. This year, points turn have turned into entries giving everyone a fair chance at the big prizes. Here is how it's going to work.

You will earn the following amount of entries for doing these things:

1. 1 Entry For Spreading The Word On This Contest, please focus these attempts on Twitter. You can do it once a day. You can also do it on Facebook, but don't cause Facebook spam by spreading it too much or it may get you and me into trouble. Please post a link of your efforts in comments so I can keep track of how many entries you will earn. YOU WILL NOT EARN POINTS IF A LINK IS NOT POSTED IN COMMENTS.
2. 1 Entry can be earned for telling me your thoughts on the Player Of The Day promo in comments. You can only do this only once.
3. 1 Entry for those of you bloggers who re-post this contest on your blog. Please post a link of that in comments below. You can only do this once.
4. 3 Entries for those of you who stop by a participating 2014 Panini Player Of The Day shop (see if your shop is participating on this LINK) and get your picture taken outside/inside the shop with the 2014 POD sign (so that it can be seen) in the background. You can do this once per shop. This means you can go to as many shops as you like to do this, but can only take a picture once at each shop. Please tell me the shops name as well if it isn't shown in the picture. What to do with the picture is detailed below.
5. 6 Entries. Here is the biggie, this can be done as many times as you want as it's unlimited. It can also be done just at one shop as well unlike the one where you just pose in front of a sign.This means 6 Entries per time for those of you who go into the shop, make a purchase, take a picture of you in front of the 2014 POD sign in/or outside the shop with your purchase and your POD packs  You can do step four along with this one, just remember you can still only do step 4 once. However, that alone will give you 17 entries.

Please email all of your pics to sportcardcollectors@hotmail.com. All of the pictures you send me will be featured on the blog along with the shops name you send me.

Throughout this part of the promotion, entries will be counted and posted on another blog post. The link to that post will be posted on the right side of the blog along with the other Player Of The Day links.

The thing I like about the new changes this year is giving everyone a fair chance at the big prize.
Because with entries, lets say someone has 100 entries and you only have 5, that doesn't mean you can't win the big prize. However, obviously earning more entries ups your chances of winning. I will be sticking everyone's name into Random.org when this promotion ends and the TOP THREE will win the following:
