The Future Of Blue

My new friend over at Valley Of Cards recently sent me a couple of cards he thought I would enjoy and boy he was right.

Daniel Jones has been red hot in the preseason. Once again, yes it is preseason, but have you seen the accuracy on his throws? Preseason or not, that still matters. He did fumble twice last night as his first two turnovers and will need to learn how to fix that, but other than that. he has been everything I had hoped.

This marks my first base card with Daniel in blue.

This guy doesn't plan to appear in the preseason as the Giants know how valuable he is to their team. And I am fine with that. So far I would say they have done a good job managing their starters and pulling them without causing injuries.

Big thanks goes out to  Valley Of Cards for the help. If you haven't yet, click on the link I included to check out their website with a vast of unique memorabilia items and check out their eBay stores here for you collecting needs,

Puck Junk Sends A Couple More

@PuckJunk from puckjunk.com had thrown up some of his doubles up for grabs for those who wanted them a week ago. Not all of them were claimed so he put them up for grabs again and I bit at two more.

I never turn down a unique card and of a player I don't have. This could be another one of those guys who once played for the NBA then went overseas to come back and be awesome. We will see.

Maria Sharapova has been one of the faces of women's tennis for awhile now so adding her first card to my collection was a no-brainer.

He also included a good read again, I just forgot to take a picture of it to go along with this post.

The Old Man And The Kid

Earlier this week a friend of mine tagged me on Twitter stating there were some cards up for grabs so who wouldn't go check that out.

I was only the second to inquire and so glad I did.

@PuckJunk from puckjunk.com had thrown up some of his doubles up for grabs for those who wanted them. I spotted two cards immediately I knew I needed.

A new Griffey Jr for the PC from the 2017 National

And a new add to my growing non-sport PC, Stan Lee. It's my first card of this legend. I hope to land his autograph someday.

Puck Junk also tossed in this fun read and a cool throwback looking business card.  I never thought about upgrading my PWE's like this. Maybe I should.

Sunday's With Rodney:1991 Score The 12th National Collectors Convention

Here we go again, time for another new Sunday's With Rodney.

Today's card takes us back to 1991 at the National. Score handed out cello wrapped pack at the National with the complete 10 card set of football cards in it. One of those players in the set happens to be my guy Rodney. I can't imagine it's too easy to find many of these cards or packs today but maybe. I only found this one Hampton listed from my searches and for $1 I wasn't going to let it go.

You can tell from the design the card has definitely got the 90's feel.

There weren't a ton of big names involved in the set other than Emmitt and Rodney, but I still think it would be fun for me to try and chase down the rest.

Mis-GRIFFED These

For the second time in a year during my sorting project, I stumbled upon a couple Ken Griffey Jr's I must had put in a wrong pile and got lost in my boxes by-brand for a few years.

Well, no more!

I have finally pulled them out and they will go to their rightful home in the Griffey binder.

Up first is one from The National. Design is okay. I like it cause it's the closest to The National I will ever get.

Up next, one from the Fan Fest in St. Louis. I like the design on this one with the arches showing and overall color appeal.

I hope to discover more Griffey's I forgot along my journey. I will have some updates soon on my overall sorting project as well.

Thoughts on today's finds are welcomed in comments.
