Single Card Mail Day:2018 Panini XR Mirrored Red /35 Eli Manning/Kyle Lauletta

You are looking at Eli Manning card #1036.

The chase is continuing as I try to get to get to 1100 different and hopefully someday past 1400 so I can become the leader on TCDB. Of course, I don't think the Eli collector on there has updated anything in a long time so he may have even more by now.

I would probably be closer if I counted my duplicates, but I trade those away instead for new ones. None of my collections on TCDB have dupes and I am not sure if the leader for Eli has counted his dupes to towards his 1400.

If any of you have Eli Mannings collecting dust, hit me up! My email is sportcardcollectors@hotmail.com.

HITS:

There are a lots of great pulls to be found, I just didn't find them.

Davis Mills could be the future of the Texans if Watson is traded.

6th round WR Dazz Newsome plays for the Bears

And final hit, Kadarius Toney. You guessed it, I was mostly excited about this one...GMEN BABY!

I figured there was no point in doing a double review of the same product, so here is how the second box went,

Patterson plays for the Washington Football Team

Ehlinger (nice looking card) plays for the Colts and Newman signed with the Eagles as a rookie free agent. That card is /10

Tamorrion Terry Full Coverage

Ja'Marr Chase (niiiiiice pull-Bengals top pick)

And two more wows to end out the second box, Trevor Lawrence silver Select and a Trey Lance Red from Illusions

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

First box was a little meh, but what wasn't in the first box was in the second box. So that makes me wonder if some boxes are better than others or maybe that's just the way it appeared this time around.

I really like the mix of cardboard and chromed cards in this break. Made for a fun chase in trying to find the top rookies in each part.

I think price point and value, well, I think this is the closest it can get in today's hobby.

Let me know your thoughts on these breaks and the product overall in comments.

CARDBOARD REVIEW:2020 Panini XR Football

XR has been a few year running product that I have liked. It's not one of my top favorites produced by Panini but it's one I don't mind seeing yearly.

And for the third year in a row I was able to rip open a box.

How did this box break go? Only one way to see, keep on reading.

Every box of 2020 Panini XR football comes with 2 packs of 7 cards. So you get 14 cards per box. Three of those cards are hits so you are left with 11 cards of inserts, base and parallels. Boxes are running close to $300.

BASE:

The base design is very similar to years past.

There are 200 cards in the base set made up of veterans and of course

Rookies.

The base set is split 50/50 between the two with 100 rookies and 100 veterans.

PARALLELS:

You can find the following parallels in XR, Red /249, Blue /199, Orange /99, White /75, Teal /49, Purple /25, Gold /10, Green /5, Black 1/1, and Printing Plates 1/1.

White /75

Orange /249

.

Blue /199. Really solid find!

INSERTS:

Overall there are 4 insert lines to find. I only found one in my box break which I would guess on average that's what you would find as well.

Inserts have the following parallels, Red #/149, Blue #/99, Orange #/49, White #/25, Gold #/10, Green #/5, Black 1/1, Printing Plates 1/1.

Xtreme Rookie red parallel /149 of  Ke'Shawn Vaughn

HITS:

Rookie XL Threads of Patch gold /10

XR Rookie auto of Dalton Keene

Triple Swatch Autograph of Antonio Gibson who had a solid season but a lame auto. These are the end part of the base set and can come with some pretty sweet memorabilia parallels such as Glove 1/1, Hat Seam 1/1, Jacket 1/1, Laundry Tag 1/1, Laundry Tag NFL Shield 1/1, Laundry Tag NFLPA 1/1, Laundry Tag Nike Swoosh 1/1, NFL Shield FB 1/1, Football 1/1, Shoe 1/1, Sock 1/1, Team Logo 1/1.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Price point is a little crazy but there are some really nice hits to be found in here. I may look up for fun to see what the memorabilia parallels look like. I bet they are pretty stunning.

Valley Of Fun

Not only is Valley Of Cards a good friend, but he sure knows how to sell cards.

This is why I will buy cards from him, and no this is not sponsored, it's because of the way he runs his business.

Let's just check out some stuff I recently grabbed from his eBay1 store and you will see why I am talking about this. Tomorrow, I will touch base with his newest store, ValleyPWE.

Mail day stack.

The cards came nicely packaged with double team bagging. There was no way at all these were going to get hurt on the ride here. And sometimes the ride to my house can be a bit bumpy.

Not only are the overall cards grouped and double bagged, but the individual cards are as well. Each card has two team bags protecting them. I have never seen another seller do this and treat cards like they are the family members they are sending back home safely.

One of the first things that caught my eye on his eBay1 account was this Darius Slayton lot. Valley Of Cards does quite a few player lots whether it's two cards or ten. There were a few cards in this Slayton lot I didn't have and I have an itching this guy will be good. (there were other Slayton lots as well but this one had my attention the most)

Numbered red parallel out of XR. I should also mention that each card has a top loader no matter the value. There are a lot of sellers I have found that will stick in one toploaded card in a stack of penny sleeved ones. That's not always the safe way.

Prizm. If you haven't caught on yet, the secret ingredient to a key rookie is having his Prizm rookie card.

Score, I have a couple of these but that's okay!

Donruss Canvas parallel

And finally a New Generation relic. I didn't have this one. I should also mention this player lot was only $9.99. If you were to price these cards individually it comes to more than that if you consider shipping for each card.

Up next, I went fishing

I caught me a big Trout. This one is a holo silver Select Stars of Mike. Those shiny cards are always appealing and throw in the fact its the face of baseball right now is an added bonus.

And finally, a nice numbered Eli Manning from Contenders football I didn't have.

If you thought this stuff was pretty cool, wait until you see my grabs tomorrow from his VOCPWE shop. I did some more fishing.....

I suggest you go check out Valley Of Cards1 eBay shop HERE and find yourself some treasures. He always has the newest and hottest products from all teams, players and almost every sport. Go see it for yourself and let me know what you grab.
