Sunday's With Rodney:1994 Finest Refractor

Bright, shiny and right up my alley. The 1994 Topps Finest refractor was yet another piece I needed to knock off the Hampton Cardboard List.

1994 Finest was a bit of a different animal too. Even though it says 1994, it included 1993 rookies and was released late 1993. The first time that this ever happened.

The refractors fell at an average of 1:8 packs and were kickoff to refractors in the football card market. Obviously, they made an immediate impact.

The design to me alone is iconic on these and the refractor just brightens it up even more.
The back of the card broke down the player overall with only one seasons worth of stats.

How many of you own football's first refractors? What was your favorite card from the product?
