Valley Of Nachos

I must apologize for the past month of blog posts and the ones that will continue going forward til March. I know there has been a bunch of Caption This and Sets talk but I have plenty of reasons for that I will speak of at a different time.

For now, I need to catch up on a couple of mail days that I got. One was from awhile ago and the other was just a couple days ago.

First up mail day from Nachos Grande for his holiday giveaway generosity.

Six non baseball cards as that was my request.

Along with three custom minis that were, so SO COOL. That Spider Man one is DA BOMB. Going to find some shelf space for that bad boy.

Up next, my buddy Valley Of Cards mailed me two separate packages just because he is a generous.

First was a PWE, which by the way he ships extremely well, had this Jarrett Stidham Prizm card from my Top 25 MOST WANTED page. If you haven't checked it out, just click the highlighted words or check it out on the blog front. Maybe you have something to help me!

Up next was this mind blowing Darius Slayton White Sparkle Prizm! These are limited to just 20 and are so, so pretty. Diamonds are a girls best friend but these White Sparkle prizms are to me!

 

Finally, a new Eli for that PC. I have never seen one of these before. It's a 2004, rookie year, Pristine Mini. Great card for my new PC to round out my Big 3.

So yes, you heard it here first. I am now PCing Eli Manning cards to go along with Kerry Collins and Rodney Hampton. I like having variety that way if I get stuck, I always have another to fall back on. All three players I also loved to watch and respect.

So if you have any Kerry Collins or Eli Mannings lying around on your desks or in boxes, just let me know! I didn't mention Rodney here because odds are I have it but it never hurts to check in anyways.

Ginter Cardboard With Relics

Recently, Nachos Grande busted a bunch of Ginter then posted up some trade bait with it to help him finish some sets.

I went and checked it out hoping to find some non sport relics or autographs for my PC. And low and behold, there were some avaialabe. I wasn't able to help him much in 2019 Ginter, but did knock down some other past needs so we worked out a quick trade, mailed fast and here what arrived for me.

Graham Elliot who is a Top Chef but also has a wicked card collection if you follow him on Twitter at all.

Ben Schwartz who is an actor and voice actor who played on Parks and Rec, House Of Lies, Ducktales, TMNT and others.

And Travis Pastrana who is a daredevil of sorts.

Thanks goes out to Nachos Grande for the trade and for being so easy to trade with. I think that's an important piece as well.

Tradin' On Up!

To keep the mail days rolling in, I made some small minor trades but bigger impacts for me PC ones. I was also fortunate to find traders that would let me mail PWE so I wouldn't have to find a way to pay for shipping which can usually take weeks to do.

My first trade was with Nachos Grande blog who had some stuff left over from his trade-athon. I had my eye on a couple non sport cards for my collection and was able to work out a trade with him for those.

 

Allen and Ginter Val Kilmer relic. Yeah I do already have one, but what's wrong with another?

 

And a Rancic auto. He was one of the winners from Donald Trumps reality show. He obviously wasn't "fired".

Up next was a new trader in @Studdard2018 who had posted some sales and a few cards caught my eye so we made a quick trade.

 

Kyle Lauletta numbered relic. I have the base but not this one.

 

Ed Asner relic. A legend to me. He is also the only celebrity I know of to visit locally and put on a one man show. Sadly I missed it but my mother in law got to see it. She gave me a couple pictures of the legend.

 

Gigli relic of a robe I assume was worn by Ben Affleck

 

And finally a swatch from comedy legend Ben Stiller. I do have this one already but I will be more than happy to add one more and more than that.

Final mail day came from a new trader in @SpartanKing1534. I saw this Ron Dayne autograph he had up for sale and since I can't afford to buy cards, I usually initiate trades and luckily for me this one worked out great. I could finally take Dayne off of my NY Giants autograph needs list.

Great looking card and Dayne had a great signature.

Best Nachos I Ever Had!

There has been a lot of generosity throughout this holiday season and it's been great to view. I have seen other collectors support each other, I have supported some and I have received some. One of those guys was Nachos Grande Blog who took down all commenters want lists and did his best to help.

He took down the fact I collect non sport, don't think there are many bloggers that do, and sent me some goodies. First up, some cool Allen And Ginter I didn't have including Bruce Lee and Tony Hawk base.

 

Then we got political. No we didn't discuss politics, that always goes ugly, but instead he sent me some.

 

And some more...

 

And finally some more. I am a huge fan of these 2008 ones. I believe I am closing in on the set. May be missing only a couple.

Awesome Celebrity Predictor from 2010 Upper Deck. I have a few of these but not this one of Enrique and Anna. 16 years strong.

 

And to end it, two packs of cards. One was a Tristar TNA and the other is Yo! MTV Raps. both I am saving for my new series in 2018 called Rainy Day Wax.
