Spend today being thankful for everything in your life. Even the smallest things deserve a thanks.
I know I am thankful for God, family, house over my head, food on the table, this blog, you guys, the hobby and life in general.
If we were just talking about the hobby in terms of thankfulness, I would say I am most thankful for this card:
It doesn't seem like much, but this is the very first card I posted on here (same pic too) that kicked off Sport Card Collectors. Without this blog I wouldn't have been able to see the hobby in a new way that has expanded my interest in it even more.
What's the one card you are most thankful for and why?
First off, Happy Thanksgiving to you as well and you're 100% correct in that we should be thankful for everything. The card I'm most thankful for is my Emmitt Smith Fleer Update rookie that my mom bought me as a birthday gift Emmitt's rookie year. It was a lot to spend on one card at a time when my mom didn't think cards were worth anything at all. It's also the card I've had in my collection for the longest time as the beginnings of my collection (mid 80s to 1990 Braves & Dodgers) were ruined by one of my brothers. I just happened to have my Emmitt rc put away separately. That's a whole other story. Hahaha Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for what you do with this blog as it is another part of what we love about this hobby!
