REVIEW:2017 Topps Luminaries

Topps Luminaries just rolls off the tongue nicely.

The product also looks just as nice. Even the box it comes in looks nice.

Let's check out what the cards inside look like and see what this high end product has to offer.
Each box of 2017 Topps Luminaries baseball has one encased autograph or autograph relic numbered to 15 or less. Boxes like I mentioned are high end and it's $249 per box.

The checklist for Luminaries features players of today, tomorrow and yesterday with names like Judge, Bo, Yaz, McGwire, and Trout. You can find the complete checklist HERE

My pull, like most of mine in 2017, wasn't any of those. But, it was of a Yankee I was fond of in the winning years, Bernie Williams. This card was a red parallel numbered to 10.

The cards look extremely sharp and the Autographs really stand out on them because of the design, color and layout. Even though it wasn't a top pull, it's fun to find players of your youth you appreciated.

Since that was the only card of the box, time for a rest of product breakdown.

Plenty to find in here!!

OVERALL, It's tough to swallow pulling a maybe $100 card out of a $240 card box. This product looks really nice, has a great selection of big time pulls, but is a big time gamble. Once again, what product isn't? This is one being so pricey is a bit more of a gambler and is for those big time hobby gamblers for those who are strictly out there for the big hits.

Once again with a one hit product, it's tough. I would have liked to seen multiple hits per box or some kinda rare parallel or printing plate added in as well. Something extra to take the sting off from a rough box. There are some huge signers in the product but it also has it's Bernie Williams and Josh Donaldsons. I am not saying there is anything wrong with those guys, but they are definitely no Mike Trout and Hank Aaron.

I am curious on your thoughts on a product like this. Please leave them below.

Please make sure to take a minute out to thank Topps for providing this box for me to review. Some of the above hits will be found in future contest promos I will run on here time to time. PLEASE Follow Topps on all social media sites and visit their SITE, as well
