I will also mention that I have heard that Topps may have been sneaky again and hid cards in the lids of the boxes so I ripped mine apart just in case. But, no such luck.
Let’s take a look if I had any luck.
In each hobby box of 2019 Topps Gypsy Queen are these box toppers that come with three chromed Gypsy Queen cards. Yes….CHROMED!!! More chrome the better to me.
These were my three I found including a Indigo of Lindor /150. Other parallels include, Gold /50, Red /5 and of course the Super Fractor 1/1 and even some autographs /25.
Also in every box of 2019 Topps Gypsy Queen, you will find 24 packs of 8 cards per pack. There will be 2 autographs per box and boxes cost just over $100.
The base card set for this year’s product is probably one of my favorites to date. Really clean look. There are 300 cards in the standard base set that include rookies and veterans. Here is a card back, no stats and just a small write up on the player.
There is also 20 SP’s which make up cards 301-320 that fall roughly one per box. My find was this Hank Aaron for my Sp.
There are variation cards to find as well. Best way to tell these is by using the CMP codes on the back of the cards.
- · Base ends in 293
- · Base SP ends in 323
- · Jackie Robinson Variation ends in 328
- · Players Weekend Variation ends in 331
- · 4th Of July Variation ends in 334
As always, products come with parallels and there are plenty of them to find in here.
I pulled a Missing Nameplate at 1:21 oddsGQ Logo Swap at 1:29 odds
Bazooka Back at 1:57 odds
And this Indigo at 1:23 that’s numbered to 250.
Other ones to find are Green, Purple, Black and White, Red and Black 1/1.
Now onto the inserts. They have the following parallels of Indigo /250, Green /99 and Black 1/1.
Fortune Teller Minis with 20 cards to collect
Tarot Of The Diamond with 22 cards to collect
Now onto my hits. Which honestly were terrible.
Autograph number one
Autograph number two
Other hits that may not be as bad to find that I didn’t are,
However my overall value in this box wasn’t as great. The best pull of this box was the Judge Players Day Weekend variation which currently is going for $40. There is still lots of gap to make up there and the autographs don’t even touch it.
With that being said, with every product it’s a gamble. You could end up with a hot box or end up with a cold one or possibly end up even. Each box is different so don’t judge a product by how I did, but by if you like the look, presentation and possibilities. That’s at least how I look at things.
- · Mini Rookie Autographs
- · Fortune Teller Autographs
- · Autograph Garments
- · Autograph Patch Booklet
- · Bases Around The League Autograph Relic
- · Pull Up Sock Autograph Relic
- · Power Performers Portrait Art Patch

A cheaper way to possibly land a hit in a break like this would be to buy into a box break which I suggest Midwest Box Breaks when you do so.
