Odd Ball!
What's the oddest card/item you own? This can also be an odd memorabilia item.
I own a piece of a pizza delivery box that was thrown into the crowd during a performance by Macaulay Culkin's Velvet Underground cover band. Doesn't really count as a sportscard, but pretty odd!

DeleteMariano Rivera game used bullpen pitching rubber. It's not that odd, but it weighs about 50 pounds, and when I met Mariano, I had to bring a suitcase because it was too heavy. I look forward to reading some more of your posts, as I am a new follower! (Yankees fan also).
ReplyDeleteI've never really gone for anything that's not cards, or diecast replicas for NASCAR, but I have plenty of printing errors that are pretty odd- including some where only half the card was printed, or miscut in some odd shapes that I don't know how they got into the card packs. I have an advertisement for 1999-00 Topps basketball that is about 2 feet tall.
ReplyDeleteI have the giant cardboard car that was part of the Sherwin Williams promotional material from 2010, it would scale out to about 8 times smaller than the full size car as well.
