To my surprise and yours.
My buddy @Jake1725 recently found a Skull Dungeon listing that was at an unbeatable price and mostly complete, so he grabbed it and sent it my way. It was the one set I had always wanted as a kid, but never got.
But now you must know, I have it!!
Let's check out the toy I wanted so much in my youth.
Outside
Inside we find Max facing off against the Dr. Gore
Up close we see that Gore has created a Frankenstein type creature known as Smasher who he planned to use against Max. But, with trap doors, Max was able to trap Gore and found a way to blow up the lab eliminating any threat from those two. You can see the trap floor right by the eyeball.
It was so nostalgic to own this piece finally. Thanks to Jake for keeping an eye out for it and grabbing me this piece. It will go on the shelf with my other 90's nostalgic toys.
I never could get into Mighty Max (I did try), but I always thought that these "Polly Pocket for boys" toys were pretty neat. Good of this fellow to find one of these for you... I'm slightly envious that you have people who are willing to seek out toys for you!
ReplyDeleteHe knew I wanted this one and just happened to be looking up toys and snagged it for me. I was pretty happy to know he was keeping an eye out for me.
DeleteOh man, those commercials. Classic.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely are!Sometimes I just Google old commercials to watch lol
DeleteCongratulations! I was too old by the time these came around, but I know how good it feels to get a toy from my childhood and add it to my collection.
